“A clean well positioned pousada. Don’t look for luxury or comfort.”
+The position was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool looked lovely but we didn’t use it as the weather was cool and wet when we were there.
−Rooms are very basic. Although clean there was no personality or character to them. Lacked warmth and soft furnishings such as a chair to sit in while putting on shoes or throwing clothes over!

“Our stay was made more enjoyable by the welcoming staff, convenient location and excellent food.”
+The staff were so kind and helpful. The Reception showed us where the laundry was outside on our first morning. The barman was always looking out for the guests and the waiters and other staff were so nice. Such a friendly hotel. The food in the restaurant Pero was outstanding. Location was great. Shower was hot and super fast. the pool was in a lovely setting and breakfast was well laid out and plenty of choice.
−There was no waste paper bin in the room - only the one in the toilet. My husband found the the outside noisy at night but this is Brazil and the week-end happened to be a public holiday so everyone was out to party. his bed was a bit narrow and he fell out of it one night! But I slept well every night! But we loved the hotel and the staff. All great otherwise.

+Location was perfect just a short walk to the historic part of town. Staff were helpful, bedrooms nice and cosy.
−The bedroom walls were quite thin, easy to hear everything in adjoining rooms, when enquiring about trips they were priced for gringos 1000 reais to have a driver take us to a couple of the cachaça distilleries less than 15 mins down the road is crazy.

+Très agréable hôtel proche du centre historique et doté d’une jolie piscine. Les petit déjeuner étaient copieux et le restaurant proposait des plats originaux. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.
