“Best place you'll ever stay.”
+I can honestly say that this is by far the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed at. We stayed early November and the whole hotel was heated and cosy. The staff were lovely and helpful. We initially booked for 1 night, but upon arrival it was clear we were going to stay for 2. I could have also easily stayed longer. We had booked a large room and it was set up beautifully and comfortable. The bed was massive and the mattress fantastic and both the room as well as the bathroom were spotless. Much like the whole pousada. There are lots of cosy places to sit, read, have a chat or a drink and many beautiful pieces of furniture and other items to admire. The grounds were stunning and our room overlooked the ruins from the convent which added a very nice touch. Breakfast was tasty and the gluten free rolls amazing. I would travel back to Portugal just so I can go stay again.
−I love every single thing

“Loved the location. Staff. Room. Restaurant. And the town of Belmonte”
+Very unique property. The views are gorgeous, the building is peaceful and drenched in history. The restaurant is very good and the staff are super knowledgeable and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was large.
−As pointed out in other posts you can hear your neighbouring room however it’s only exaggerated by the complete silence of the countryside.

“CALME ET VOLUPTE”
+Magnifique emplacement.
