+A lovely apartment in an excellent location right in the heart of Florence, close to all the main attractions. We could explore everything on foot and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. We were very happy with our stay!
−The room had a strong, unpleasant smell.

“Loved Pontevecchio Relais and I will be returning!”
+I knew my room wouldn’t be quiet because of the location - it was a little loud with traffic in the morning but I was expecting it so it wasn’t a problem. The hosts were very friendly and made sure there was cold water in the fridge when I arrived. The room had a safe, wardrobe and comfy bed.

“Location great but noisy”
+Location was great.
−Very noisy all night due to people partying all night and a strange noise from the place that sounded like a speed boat starting up which went off constantly during the night.

“Great location for a room, but don’t expect a hotel!”
+Location was fantastic, really convenient to visit the city and explore from a good base. Staff were very friendly!
−It isn’t really a hotel - possibly a misunderstanding on our part. More like independent rooms in the building. There is no restaurant or dining facilities, not even for breakfast. Coffee machine is paid for and terrible quality in reception. Very loud environment, easy to hear other rooms’ occupants and toilet/water system was very noisy all throughout the night. Seems to spontaneously flush/filter itself. Meant that sleep quality wasn’t great.
