+This property has an authentic local charm and is perfectly suited for two families with children. We especially enjoyed the ocean views from the spacious living room and the well maintained swimming pool.
−There is a bit of humidity in the rooms, which are difficult to ventilate. We used the dehumidifiers available in the rooms.

“Lovely stay in a quiet village with amazing views”
+Lovely house in a nice, quiet village. Pool was beautiful and well kept. Plenty of space and comfortable beds and couches. Lovely outdoor dining area. Overall the house was clean and in great condition. There is ample parking, but driveway is very narrow so best to have a small rental car. Village is cute and quiet, but also very narrow winding roads to be aware of. Not many amenities in the village, but there is one walkable cafe that had a lovely owner and makes a great espresso.
−Screens were ripped in several spots which made it so you couldn’t open the windows without letting bugs. Two chairs in outdoor dining area are broken and unusable. One of the refrigerators leaked necessitating frequent water clean up. The house is advertised as beachfront, but the beach nearby is essentially inaccessible as the trail to it is down a cliff, unkempt, and too dangerous to access for most people.

−No coffee pods for espresso machine (unique size , not available locally) No cork screw (but we left one there for future use 😊)

+Prachtig grote villa en dito tuin met klein maar mooi aangelegd zwembad. Mooie locatie op het weelderig groene Sao Miguel. De villa is zeer goed uitgerust. We waren met 6 volwassen personen, maar 8 of 10 zou ook gekund hebben. Dat geldt niet alleen voor het aantal slaapplaatsten, maar ook voor de totale uitrusting van het huis qua ruimte, aantal badkamers (4), hoeveelheid stoelen, grote tafels, borden, bestek, ligbanken bij het zwembad. We hadden dagelijks het gezellige bezoek van 2 katten, een langharige poes en een kortharige kater, die we aangehaald hebben en die het bij ons ook prima naar hun zin hadden. Het afscheid viel zwaar. Prachtige plek.
−Eigenlijk geen grote minpunten. Ik heb de gastheer/vrouw niet de hoogste score gegeven, omdat wij die niet gezien hebben. Een kennismaking was misschien leuker geweest, maar alles wijst zich vanzelf. Een keer viel de aardlekschakelaar uit. Er was een telefoonnummer en de gastvrouw nam direct op en heeft ons de plaats van de hoofdschakelaar gewezen. Het probleem was toen snel verholpen. De groepenkast zit rechtsboven bij de ingang, maar buiten bij het hek zit in de muur nog een glazen luik met daarin de hoofdschakelaar. Het probleem deed zich maar 1 keer voor. Een ander minpunt is misschien dat 1 van de slaapkamers (slaapkamer boven) niet over een airconditioner beschikt, de 3 slaapkamers beneden wel en de matrassen van de bedden van die bovenslaapkamer zijn ook vrij hard en oud (je voelt de stalen veren door het matras heen). Ik zou als host dat matras snel vervangen. De rest is Uitstekend en de hoogste score meer dan waard.

+Tolles, charmant rustikales, stilvolles Haus mit hervorragender Ausstattung. Zentrale Lage auf der Insel.
−Im Winter leider schlecht zu beheizen und wie überall auf den Azoren relativ feucht.

“Eine tolle Unterkunft für unsere Gruppe! Viel Stil und nettes Ambiente.”
+Lage gut, die Höhepunkte mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. keine Einkaufmöglichkeit in der Nähe, aber mit dem Auto auch kein Problem.
−Den Code für den Schlüsselsafe haben wir erst nach komplizierter telefonischer Nachfrage und vergeblicher Versuch bei booking.com bekommen.
