+I came for one day and stayed for a month! I rarely write reviews, but this place is absolutely wonderful, quiet among the rice fields, the most beautiful sunsets and a wonderful host who is always willing to do something. Your stay is as comfortable as possible, I will definitely come back to you.

“So far the best stay in Ubud”
+My stay at Pondok Senja was incredibly delightful. So much so I had originally booked for 2 days, and ended up staying 9 days! The villa has an amazing view of the rice fields with a balcony that overlooks both a gorgeous sunrise and sunset. The environment is quiet and off the main road which is perfect as its a short 1 minute walk to everything you need. Groceries, restaurants, bars etc Wayan the Pondok owner was very helpful, tentative and always present. My room was cute and cleaned daily. When I asked about laundry he was quick to assist and take it to the nearest laundry mat. One day, my scooter and shoes were very muddy. Without asking, I came out of my room and to my surprise he was washing my motorcycle and cleaning my shoes. When I wanted to go exploring Bali he was quick to arrange a car rental and tour me himself with an unforgettable humbling special traditional experience. I asked to work the rice fields one day and he arranged it with the locals. What an incredible experience! By the end of the stay it felt like a second home. So far this has been my best stay in Bali, if this sounds like what you are looking for in Ubud then this is the place for you. 10/10 customer
