“would stay there again. Pompeii was a relaxing spot to enjoy travel after the "chaos" of Naples.”
+Really enjoyed staying in Pompeii. Great place to explore and served as a base for visiting the archaeological sites. Host was responsive to questions. There are several different rail lines going to town so need to be sure which is the one that works for you.

“Clean and comfortable”
+For one night it was clean and comfortable. Before arrival most questions were answered promptly apart from a question I had about if they could advise where we might leave our luggage while we were on a tour of Pompeii (Note for other visitors, the main entrance to Pompeii has free left luggage in lockers). Our flight was delayed and the host advised us how to get to the property by WhatsApp but we had missed the last train to the nearest station. There were no taxis waiting at the station so we had a 30 minute walk with bags - bear this in mind if arriving late (8.30pm). Host recommended restaurants that would be open late which was helpful.
−It’s not a guest house as described. It is apartments in an apartment building so no staff on site or reception. Booked an apartment as it had a bed and a sofa bed in a different room as we were 2 friends travelling. Breakfast is at a local cafe but they weren’t welcoming when we arrived and didn’t appear to have any food so we went elsewhere. After leaving the property we were asked why we used the sofa bed. Very strange. When I explained that’s why I booked an apartment, they said it was because the cleaner charges more!
+Located a few minutes from all kinds of dining options, a 15-20 min walk from the entrance of the archeological site of Pompei and the bus to Vesuvio, and a short walk to the train to Herculaneum and Napoli, Lorenzo's apartment was the perfect home base for exploring the area. Lorenzo was very accommodating and communicative, responded quickly to every question I had and gave great recommendations. I definitely plan on staying here when I visit the area again. “Good value for money”
+Location, friendly and reactive staff, easy check-in and check out,air-conditioning, the shutters, big fridge, good WiFi
−Bathroom could be upgraded (e.g.:shower size), small upgrades like the top mattress.. but overall good value for money. Anything we asked Giuliana she was amazing, friendly and responsive, grazie!

“Great stay and well worth the price, would stay again”
+Great stay, five minutes to the train station, ten minutes to the ruins, walkable to multiple shops and restaurants. Giuliana patiently assisted us checking in on WhatsApp and the rooms were clean and spacious. The AC was very effective, very important after a day of walking the ruins in June. The kitchenette would be great for a longer stay and the area was safe and walkable. We were able to store baggage at a bar around the corner. She also found us a car service to take us to the ferry the next morning. Thanks for everything!
−The shower was a little smaller than we’re used to, but not an issue

“Best location in Pompeii”
+Location was fantastic, near the basilica, train station, Pompeii night life and Pompei park archeological. The flat was comfortable with all the amenities at the kitchen. Good space and easy to access. If you need a car park, Lorenzo gave a good recommendation from the Gloria Garage, just around the corner. The host was very helpful and careful with all our needs. We had a wonderful time there.
