“The paramo is overwhelmingly beautiful!”
+The location is amazing!
−The cabin was good but the facilities were a bit dated although they tried to upgrade them with basic esthetic moderations. The shower kept going from cold to hot and there was no option to let in fresh air.

“Its expensive”
+The setting is very beautiful, and the rooms were very nice. Bathing in the river was amazing, although them calling it a "ritual" was weird. A night suffices if you are only going to do the activities offered by the hotel.
−They charge you for a 5 star experience but that's not what you receive. For the same price, you are treated much better and given many more treats at other places, Hacienda Rumiloma for example. If it is the luxury experience you are looking for, this is not the place, though they charge you as such. It is beautiful, and everything was great, just overpriced. Maybe the price premium comes from being in the middle of a Polylepis forest. If that is worth it for you, go ahead.

“Would go again, and take friends and family.”
+The staff. Starting from the front desk, to the restaurant, to the guides, they were amazing. Extremely polite, fun, and very knowledgeable. Really makes for a fantastic experience. The place itself is magical, and the hotel has managed to get it through to its guests. The food was excellent, and at a great price/value.
−My only comment was that guests should receive the activities and meal schedule ahead of time in order to not miss any of them.

“Beautiful weekend escape”
+Amazing location and good guided directions to find it. The room was incredible and a cozy fireplace included. On-site restaurant provided meals of a good standard and the spa facilities were brilliant. Very relaxing stay with the day excursions, overall!
−There was some confusion about the cost (I ended up paying $20 more than the advertised price, so there must have been some error as it was already discounted and booking.com were discounting on top of that, which was not honored by the hotel). Also I thought 'breakfast included' was for both mornings of my stay, but it was only for the value of one breakfast. Finally, there was some difficulty getting hot flowing water to fill the jacuzzi tub in the room which is totally normal in Ecuador, but with some help from the very accommodating staff they were able to fix it!

“Un lugar que vale conocer en el Ecuador por su único ecosistema”
+El lugar donde se encuentra es único. La naturaleza y los paisajes junto con las actividades organizadas por el lodge valen 100% la pena. La atención muy buena desde el momento que realizas la reserva. Es pet friendly. El proyecto es consciente con el medio ambiente y conservación de la flora y fauna.
−Me encantaría que el precio sea mas accesible para poder visitarlo con más frecuencia. El área del spa estuvo un poco desorganizada.
