+There is no instruction about the location and i have to call them number of time and no one picked the call. It took me 40 minutes to enter the property.

+Rooms were great and accessible to the ocean and black beach. Wonderful access to black beach for early swim and walk on beach away from the main crowds. Really lovely watching the fishermen there and nice coffee on the beach after.
−Mainly that at the weekend we were there there’s a dance party on at the local bar which is cool if your into dancing but not cool if you want to sleep

“nice location, good surfing lessons, no hot water”
+location was nice, 2 minute walk from the beach. there was the aquarium in front of the view though so you coild see the beach on the two sides of the aquarium building. the outdoor shower was nice along with the outdoor eating area which overlooked a buffalo grazing field. it is away enough from the main area that its quiet at night but walking distance to the cliff and town. Zostel next door was never loud. the surfing lessons were a highlight
−we couldn’t get the hot water to work and we had to ask for things (toilet paper, soap, towels) instead of them being replenished daily, a tad annoying but not a huge deal

“Nice place near Black Sand Beach”
+We liked the location near the less crowded Black Sand beach. We liked our room, which didn’t have much of a view, but was quiet and private. And the staff.
−We like Indian breakfast, but it was the same every morning. We stayed five nights, but the room was neither cleaned nor fresh towels offered. We weren’t warned not to leave shoes or clothing on our terrace, one of my best hiking sandals (and socks) were totally chewed up by the staff’s dog (caught red handed!) and unwearable. We noticed other people’s footwear and clothing chewed and strewn afterwards as well! We thought the cost high for what was provided.

“Locally owned surf stay done right!”
+Booked this place without really knowing what to expect, and our stay completely exceeded expectations. What truly makes it stand out are the people - they are incredibly welcoming, passionate, and genuinely create a home-from-home atmosphere. You instantly feel like part of the community. Hamza couldn’t have been more helpful and is a real asset to the place!! Vinu is one of the oldest surfers in the area and renovated the place by hand, which really shows in the character and care put into it. This is a truly locally owned and locally run place … it’s not just about community, it’s part of the community. When you’re out surfing, you really feel that too, with such a positive, friendly vibe in the water and great relationships with the other local surf schools. We’ve been to a few surf schools, and this one really stands out for how closely they want to collaborate with other local people to help develop surfing in Varkala in a genuinely inclusive, collaborative way. The rooms were super comfy, breakfast and coffee were delicious every morning, and the location is fantastic, with views of the sea from the property. +We stayed at Point Break just for 1 night, but had a really great stay. It is super close to the beach, and not far from restaurants/shops. Best part by far was the surf lesson, the instructors were very clear and attentive, and we just had so much fun! Would really recommend :)
