10.0“A perfect wee Highland escape”
+The remoteness! Just perfect, and not too far off the NC500! The pod has everything you need to switch off and relax. It comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 3 dogs! 🐶 I loved the patio area, where you can cook breakfast outside in the morning. The breakfast ingredients provided were lovely too! In the evening, you can walk up the wee hill behind the pods, sit on the bench and enjoy some stargazing (no light pollution!). Or you can just chill in one of the hammocks! The honesty shop next to the pods has everything you might have forgotten to bring - snacks, board games, a telescope and more! They also accept donations for the air ambulance, which is a lovely touch. There are several fire pits where you can relax in the evening or even have a BBQ! It’s remote enough to feel like you’re escaping from the world, but there’s still plenty to keep you entertained after a long day exploring the surrounding areas. I’d definitely recommend staying for at least one night rather than just passing through, so you can fully enjoy everything this lovely wee place has to offer! Honestly, the perfect wee Highland escape! ❤️

10.0“Brilliant! Would love to come back and explore the area further 😊”
+Communication was fantastic prior to arrival and Kevin was able to cater for my partners dietary needs. The breakfast package is delicious and set us up for a day of exploring. Most visitors only stay for a night, I would encourage them to stay longer and explore the area. Kevin has written a wonderful guide with lots of things to do. Our dogs were welcomed as much as we were. There is an onsite shop/caravan where all the money goes towards the air ambulance which is amazing. The pods are exactly as described with everything we needed, in a stunning location, with an excellent host!

10.0“Perfect for a short break.”
+It was an ideal central location for seeing the countryside and plenty of amazing beaches. Kevin, our host was very friendly and helpful, with an abundance of local knowledge. Pod 4 was more than adequate for both of us. Very comfortable and very well stocked. The 5 Star breakfast was amazing and could not have asked for more. It has an well stocked honesty cabin and also items you can borrow.

10.0+Wonderful stay with the family! Very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Kevin made us feel truly welcome right from the start , he gave us great recommendations for local sights and explained everything clearly. Allowing the kids to feed the chickens was such a lovely experience for them! The pod itself is fantastic and equipped with everything you need. We really appreciated the shelter, as well as the fire pit and BBQ facilities. A wonderful place for a getaway with children. Highly recommended!

10.0“Amazing stay in the nature; first class host”
+Kevin was an amazing and helpful host. We had a great chat and he explained everything as well as gave us useful tips for exploring the surroundings. Next time I am around the northern coast I will make sure to book one of the pods with Kevin.

8.0“A good value for money 'glamping' option in a great location.”
+I enjoyed cooking my own breakfast and the food, cooked or continental, was very good. The bed was very comfortable and as I was in Pod 4 there was somewhere comfortable to sit down too.
−The shower was a tad difficult at times, delivering cold water only when one was only part washed (I don't think I spend an excessive time in the shower) or on one occasion no hot water at all. The pod door wouldn't stay closed unless locked, and that was a tad annoying at times too. These are minor gripes, which I am sure that during the closed-season Kevin can fix.
