“Slightly too expensive for what it is”
+That you are basically left alone. You can wash cloth.

+Anita is a nice wellspoken person
−This place is NOT as described. It will take You at least 1,5 hrs/way to get to central Jakarta. NO bus/train 10PM-early mornings. If You want the room w/ hot shower +50K IDR/day, During my 19 days stay (15 jan- 2Feb 2026) there was NO cleaning of the room/change of towels/Linnens. Garbage is left just ourside one of the rentals , so in the morning there is ants/bugs all over the terrass/patio. Sorry Anita...this could have been a nice place...but Your lack of interest for guest/cleaning makes this one of the worst places I ever stayed at , during 40 yrs of traveling round asia

+Anita is an amazing host. Not only does she provide anything you would need, including toothbrush, shampoo and even moisturizer, but if you ask for anything she will happily provide it. She even took me around to a local market and more. She often shared her cooking, and was happy to let me cook for her as well. Amazing place!!
−It is a peaceful, local area near a lake. A bit hard to find, but for me, much better than staying in a tourist area. Hot water would be nice.

+The room is big and cozy, there are all the necessary things. There are many cafes near the house. Anita is a wonderful hostess and a good friend! She met me at the bus station and took me with my things when I left. She showed me the city and treated me to delicious Indonesian dishes!

+The place is super sweet and personal. You have a lot of space (bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, terrace) and a very nice neighboorhood. Anita makes you feel very welcome and takes time to spend time together as you wish. You can explore places in the south of Jakarta or relax and experience a more local environment.

“Best kept secret on this city!”
+The best part of the lovely traditional home in a gorgeous part of Jakarta that will surprise you, is Anita, your host. She took me to the mat let, took me eating, help me with everything and became my friend. We had good talks about how the country work and it was so interesting to discover Indonesia this way! I strongly recommend you to stay with her. Stay in the cities outsides made me be able to enjoy it without the caos! You must see this lovely place!

+J'ai habité trois mois chez Anita, et tout était parfait. La chambre est très agréable, le lit est grand et confortable, la salle de bain est spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Idem pour la cuisine partagée, on peut y trouver tout ce dont on a besoin. Mais surtout, Anita, l'hôte, est très gentille, respectueuse, et généreuse. Elle m'a parfois préparé des plats, me fournissait ce dont j'avais besoin, et se souciait toujours de mon confort. Je me suis vraiment sentie chez moi :) Merci pour tout, j'espère revenir !
