“Incredible hosts”
+Padmasri and family made this an incredibly memorable homestay with their hospitality and care. They were very welcoming and served up delicious, sumptuous breakfasts everyday. The homestay is well equipped with wifi, good view, and a fan. Our kids had lot of fun interacting with the hosts. Great value for money overall The homestay is a bit far from the town and would need a 1000LKR tuktuk ride, which the hosts arrange promptly. Storage space is a bit less but that is to be expected with the beds.

“One of the best stay we had in Sri Lanka! Cozy and familiar”
+Squeaky clean, room is spacious, comfy bed, beautiful view, the hosting family is amazing! Everyone is very gentle and funny, they offered an amazing breakfast. You can also order lunch and dinner they have a little menu. Dining room is very cared for, bright and sunny also with stunning view. The house is on the road so expect some horn noises. Didn’t really bother us too much, we slept like babies. Hosts replay through WhatsApp very quickly. Helpful if any information is needed. If ever back to Sri Lanka surely back at their place. Thank youuu

−the location, an hour by foot up the mountain or 15 minutes tuktuk the shower drainage was on the other side of the bathroom resulting in the whole bathroom getting wet repeatedly when showering

“A wonderful stay in Ella”
+We had a wonderful stay in Ella. Although the accommodation is not very close to the town center, it is easy to reach by bus or tuk-tuk. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The terrace is a lovely place to enjoy breakfast or simply relax with friends while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The accommodation occupies a dedicated floor of a local family's home, which made the experience feel authentic and welcoming. The family was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us great recommendations on the best places to visit and the easiest ways to get there. Breakfast was generous and varied, with different local dishes served each day, allowing us to try a wide range of Sri Lankan cuisine. We also had dinner at the accommodation, and it was absolutely delicious. The lady of the house is an excellent chef. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a warm, authentic, and relaxing experience in Ella.

+Die Lage war gut, mit dem TukTuk war man schnell in Ella. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Preis-/Leistung gut. Es gab Moskitonetze über den Betten. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse war wunderbar.
−Das Zimmer roch feucht. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer aus war nicht so schön, aber immerhin konnt man ein paar Affen sehen.

+房间外面有很大的阳台，餐厅，可以看风景，可以看日出。跟我们的沟通很好，恰好逢新年，跟房东聊天，了解当地的风情，很不错。还欣赏了他家女儿（教师）的绘画作品，他家儿子也特别优秀，是科伦坡大学毕业。
