“AVOID AT ALL COSTS!”
−The accommodation was completely different from what was advertised: dirty room, shared space, damaged furniture, and above all, bed bugs! Completely unacceptable and unhygienic. The owners were extremely dishonest and even denied that we had stayed there despite the evidence. We left after just one night. Do not book this place!

“The perfect Salerno getaway spot with incredible sea views!”
+We loved the views from the property the most. It has the most stunning views of the sea and port, as well as a bit of the city as well. It was super spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a stay in Salerno!
−This didn’t bother us but it is worth noting - it is quite far up the old town hillside and to get there you need to climb quite a few stairs. The view is absolutely so worth it though!

+The location was perfect, we were able to access lots of restaurant on the sea side and in the main town. Michele who met us from the train station to take us to the apartment was wonderful and so friendly. Would definitely recommend this apartment. Amazing view as well!

“Unrealistic photos, unloved and basic.”
+The property was not as described. Location was reasonable distance from main old town. Host was friendly in arrival and thorough showing us where things were, access and local attractions.
−The listing for this property feels disingenuous. Photos show a bright, open, well-styled space, the reality was dark, dingy, and bare. Furnishings were battered and chipped, a window pane was cracked, and there were many cracks on the walls and even one of the doors. The cupboard shown as open storage in the bedroom photos is actually a locked cleaning cupboard. There’s no living space, just two dark bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen squeezed into a hallway cupboard, with the room visible from the communal hallway through a glass elevator. Getting to the property felt unwelcoming, barking dogs, neighbours watching which is no fault of the host but was not somewhere we’d felt safe returning to after dark. Bathroom had a rusty radiator and a stained toilet, and the air con was basic to cope with the August heat. It felt neglected rather than lived-in , more halfway house than holiday apartment. We almost immediately booked elsewhere to stay as this wasn’t a place we wanted to spend any time on our holiday.

“Beautiful location and building, but the AC and kitchen area needs to be upgraded.”
+Amazing location and views from the rooftop terrace. The beach and harbor are in good walkable distance if you take the public elevator not far from the accomodation.
−It was very hot and the AC could not cool down the flat, so we were struggling to get to sleep in the night. We had ants in the property so we had to empty the bins often.

“MAUVAIS”
+Le chauffeur pour nous emmener au logement a été très très gentil. Il nous a aidé à trouver un autre logement dans la nuit.
−le logement n'est pas adapté à une personne qui a du mal à marcher . Le quartier est sale. logement est loin du centre ville. Le propriétaire devait nous rembourser 2 nuits , il en a remboursé qu'1 seule
