“A beautiful estate with considerable potential, but the standard of accommodation, cleanliness and management does not j”
+The beautiful gardens, grounds and attractive exterior of the estate.
−Outdated Google Maps directions made finding the property extremely difficult. Our original accommodation was unbearably hot, requiring us to relocate. The alternative house was poorly cleaned and maintained, with stained upholstery, damaged furnishings, dirty kitchen surfaces and drawers, and missing cutlery. There was also a noticeable lack of attention to detail throughout.

“Wonderful stay”
+We loved our stay at Plaisir Estate. The apartment was one of the most special places we've ever stayed - historic, but very comfortable, with wonderful views and working fireplaces in every room. Perfect for a special stay. The staff were fantastic and we appreciated that they provided a cot for our son.
−Nothing.

+I was blown away. It was such an experience staying on the wine farm. Gale was so accommodating to my changing times as I flew in on the Friday afternoon only - she was so welcoming on arrival and very helpful throughout our stay. The cottage was perfect. We even made a fire one evening and it was just incredible. We used the pool which was so tranquil. Thank goodness for the aircons in the rooms - they get very hot in the day! Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will be back again next year!

+We arrived in the evening and had to run around trying to find bulbs and adaptors for the bedside lights are they were not working. The unit was not particularly clean with the carpets in a desperate need of a wash, the furniture was old and worn. The bed was comfortable and linen was clean however the overall experience was not great - there is a dog that lives on the property that did bark a lot.

“Good!”
+Lovely spacious accomodation, could walk over to wine tasting,
−We were told the pool was “an hour away from being ready for swimming” but it was most definitely not. Was out of action / filled with dirt and maintenance going on - likely days / weeks away
