+Exceptional staff: The staff is incredibly friendly, polite, and very tactful. Great breakfast: The breakfast options were delicious. Beach transfer: A free shuttle/transfer to the beach is a huge plus. Clean room & amenities: The room was sparkling clean with plenty of fresh towels. The swimming pool was also very clean and nice.
−Location drawback: It is a bit inconvenient and tricky to walk to the main road on foot.

“The place exceeded our expectations.”
+We stayed in a 2BR gated villa with its own pool and a hot tub. When we entered the gate, we were very impressed. The villa was spotless and had all the amenities we need. The staff was helpful and they have a tuktuk to take us to town. The breakfast was excellent and they delivered it in time. They even sent us breakfast to go as our flight out was very early.
−The “spa” could have been better. It was basically a very small stand alone building with 2 massage tables. The room was so small you could have held hands with the person on the other table. No privacy at all, not even a curtain. You have to undress infront of the massage therapist with all the lights on. No bathroom, not even a sink. As the place is called Pineales resort and SPA, I think they could have done better.

“Beautiful and great location, but did not meet expectations with internal noise.”
+When we arrived we were greeted very warmly by staff. We were very excited for our stay after an exhausting few days. We did have to make quite a few requests after the first night to make our stay more comfortable, but the staff were very accommodating, so thank you. Apart from that we had a very pleasant stay overall. The room and pool was very beautiful and the floating breakfast was a very nice addition. The mini fridge had loads of snacks and drinks which was great. They offer free tuktuk service to the city centre which was very helpful. You could communicate with staff through whatsapp which was convenient for ordering breakfast. The also had spa/massage service which didn't take long to organise, we were very relaxed after that.
−We were asked to pay cash for our outstanding balance upon checkout, which was strange since we had paid for the room with credit card. This was inconvenient and cost us more with currency exchange/fees. The room we were allocated had the pool pump at the back so we had to request for it to be turned off every night as the noise was incredibly loud and disturbing. Unfortunately this attracted a lot of bugs to the pool as the water was stagnant. I noticed some of the other rooms had the pool pump out the front. We would have preferred to be offered a different room rather than asking for the pump to be turned off, but I'm not sure what their availability was like. The hot water system was very poor, they attended to it and it worked once then immediately stopped again after that, I explained I had a condition where cold water caused me pain, but I was tired of making requests of the staff. They also had construction going on which they notified us by whatsapp the morning of, which was fine, I understand these things have to be carried out, but it meant we couldn't relax at the accomodation like we wanted and had to leave during the day to avoid the noise. “A serene stay with exceptional service.”
+The private villa with my own pool, spacious living area and excellent air con made for an incredible stay. The location is perfect; quiet and a free shuttle to anywhere in Alona Beach. What made it for me however were the staff; they were exceptional and attentive, contactable by WhatsApp 24/7. I could not recommend this property any more highly.

−It's a little bit far from main road or Alona beach, but they really thought it thru because they have a Tuk-tuk service available.

“Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in ruhiger Umgebung”
+Pool und Whirlpool sind wunderbar, Zimmer ist groß und schön ausgestattatet, Bett sehr bequem und nicht zu weich. Gratis Shuttleservice zum Strand (Alonabeach) hat perfekt funktioniert. Sehr gutes Frühstück, wenn man auch als „floating“ möglich.
