+It was a short walk into the town centre, but far enough that it was nice and quiet. Off road parking was a great addition. It had everything I needed for my long weekend.

+Lovely peaceful location and the cottage was beautiful. A great base for exploring . Would definitely book again.
−When I arrived by train I had read it was a 10 minute walk,so I walked instead of getting a taxi and half way up the steep hill ,dragging my suitcase i wished I had got a taxi. Only other thing was it could do with a sign post at the entrance as you could easily miss it .

Spacious and comfortable - had everything we needed for a lovely stay Was a heatwave when we were there but property was cool enough with provided fan and curtains drawn Felt very private but only a few minutes walk to town Lots to do within a few minutes drive We went to Heights of Abraham, Crompton Mill, Masson Mill, Chatsworth House and Bakewell
−As everyone says the hill to town was something we are not used to! But we saw it as good for us and exercise to burn off those holiday treats!

“Pillar box review”
+The bed seemed clean and comfortable, the upstairs bathroom was excellent the downstairs toilet and washbasin was clean, only problem the pine door opened inwards which could have damaged the sink if not opened slowly
−When first I entered through the kitchen door the kitchen seemed fine , going into the room was okay except for bits on the laminate floor to the right of the settee, the settee and rug on the floor, I was not impressed with, with bits I mean bits of dirt, the spiral staircase was nice, in the bedroom, under the bed I could see dust, and in the wardrobe there where only three coat hangers, in the room and kitchen, to cover the windows were part curtain and part Venetian blind, not very private, the TV was excellent with plenty of programmes to chose from, I don't want to cause any trouble for the owners but you asked for a review so that's what I'm doing, all the reviews in the booking the room where very good, it must have been a week of me staying where there must have been a lapse somewhere, I came home a day earlier as I'd had enough, it's just put me off of booking with you again
