“Full experience of living in a small vibrant Venetian coastal town with all modern creature comforts”
+The property (which is not a hotel btw, it is a small building with 3 rental apartments owned by the same family, but there is no reception or staff presence on site /though they live just a few houses away and are responsive on request/) is located in the very center of a picturesque Istrian little town, overviewing the main town square. The apartment is extremely tastefully decorated, respecting the "genetics" of the old Venetian style building, combined with modern simplistic design. This is done with extreme care for detail throughout the entire building. The apartment is spotless and perfect (I cannot remember the last time I stayed in a Booking property where the bathroom was as spotlessly clean and with everything functioning /as opposed to usual things you see like shower cabin door being loose, mold in the corners, limescale yellow etc ... such a nice experience!). The combination of the old building style (designed to keep the interior cool during hot days) and the unobtrusive A/C maintained a pleasant inside temperature even during 40 degree C days. −During our 5 day stay there was no cleaning whatsoever done in the apartment (unlike communal areas such as staircase which were cleaned regularly). While it was spotless to begin with and did not need thorough cleaning, it would have been nice if the staff emptied the trash can and replaced the towels every 2-3 days (or if the clean towels were available somewhere in the building for us to replace when needed). I guess with the property being named a "hotel", I expected some level of daily service to the rooms. I saw the apartment advertised for 3 or even 4 people, due to its fairly small area it is great for couples and maybe families with one small child, anything over that would be too crowded I think.

−Osoblje koje nije postojalo, rezervacija bez prijave na istu. Po dolasku u smještaj, ne bih ovo nazvala hotelom, dočekao nas je ključ s unutarnje strane vrata sobe, bez dočeka na recepciji koju smještaj nema. Ručnik jedan po osobi, pun mrlja. Fen za kosu tek na upit, dobili smo ga jutro kasnije. S obzirom da smo došli nešto kasnije u smještaj nismo se mogli ni okupati s obzirom da nismo imali kako posušiti kosu. Soba u potkrovlju, izrazito vruće. Ovakav tip smještaja i usluge ne vrijedi ni 20e za noć a ne visokih 100e uz popust.

+Die Lage in dem Dorf ist wirklich sehr schön. Man fühlt sich total wohl und das Zimmer (wir waren im 3. Stock) war super stilvoll und sauber. Das Bett war bequem, die Klima hat sehr gut funktioniert.
−Es waren wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten. Es gab leider keinen Fön und es wurde trotz 5 Nächten nichts gereinigt.

+Il Piccolo Hotel è un palazzotto interamente ristrutturato da due architetti di Lubiana , marito e moglie, che condividono la passione per il recupero edilizio. E il tocco degli architetti si percepisce in tutto, nel modo in cui sono stati recuperati i materiali originari, nei dettagli minimalisti rispettosi della storia del luogo ma assolutamente funzionali. Gli interni sono molto curati ma quello che più ci ha affascinato è la posizione: sei nel centro della piazza di Dignano, un paese slow dove il turismo è solo di passaggio e dove gli avventori dei due bar della piazza sono gente del posto o triestini o istriani che hanno lì la seconda casa. Abbiamo fatto un giro in paese, è tutto ordinato, pulito, orgogliosamente istriano.
−aggiungerei una piastra a induzione o elettrica per consentire agli ospiti di cucinare: c'è un bel tavolo nella zona comune, perfetto per i momenti conviviali
