“Beautiful, peaceful, loving details”
+What a wonderful, peaceful place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable and your hostess, Maria, is incredible! There was a terrible storm and the entire town lost power, but somehow she and her staff member, Zhie, managed to create a fabulous breakfast. You definitely wanna try the yogurt with Chia seeds, pistachio, and other goodies. I don’t like any of those things and somehow this was a magical treat. Everything is homemade including the jams. The place is neat as a pin and well located within an easy drive (or fit person‘s walk) to the beach and castle. Then there’s the beautiful sea view! What a way to start your day with a gorgeous breakfast buffet and that view. Next-door is the Fig and Olive, a fabulous restaurant with a terrific vibe. Another great way to end your day with sunset over the sea, fabulous food, and a relaxing meal. Care and love is everywhere. The morning we left, I saw them decorating a table for another guest birthday. How sweet! The well fed resident cat will hit you up for goodies, but it’s equally happy with scratches. This has been our favorite place to stay in Albania!

“Best breakfast EVER!”
+Wonderful stay at this small hotel. The owner Maria and her staff made us feel so welcome, she even left us a bottle of wine in the room (for us to celebrate our anniversary) and sent us off with some homemade fig jam. The breakfast was nothing short of incredible. Maria is the best cook in all of Albania!

−Be sure to have some form of transportation, as the hotel is quite far from the nearest beaches (Livadi is a 20-minute walk, while Himarë is about 40 minutes away).

+This place has the best view to the Livadhi beach. Excellent breakfast, which is all home-made, local and delicious, The Greek owner is the loveliest person, so warm and makes you feel like at home.

“Wunderschöner Meerblick mit leckerem Frühstück und tollen Gastgebern”
+Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit in Himarë. Ich bin das Geburtstagskind aus der vorherigen Bewertung, für das der Tisch dekoriert und sogar gesungen wurde ☺️ wir haben für später auch noch eine Flasche Wein bekommen, die wir bei Sonnenuntergang mit wunderschönem Meerblick vom Balkon getrunken haben. Morgens gab es ein großes Frühstücksbuffet, bei dem von süß bis herzhaft alles frisch selbstgemacht war. An einigen Tagen waren wir aufgrund des Saisonendes ganz alleine und es wurde trotzdem eine riesige Auswahl nur für uns vorbereitet. Für die Fahrt zurück nach Tirana haben wir noch ein großes Lunchpaket bekommen und zwei große Gläser hausgemachte Marmelade für zu Hause. Parkplätze gab es direkt vor der Tür. Die Betten waren bequem, die Dusche wurde nach kurzer Wartezeit heiß und hatte einen guten Wasserdruck. An den Türen und dem Badezimmerfenster waren Insektengitter angebracht. Es gab einen Wasserfilter für das Leitungswasser im gesamten Haus! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und behalten unseren Urlaub in Albanien, vor allem bei jedem Biss ins Marmeladenbrot, in guter Erinnerung.
−Die Dusche hatte keine Tür und keinen Vorhang. Die Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür sind etwas begrenzt, weil sie auch von den Gästen des Restaurants nebenan genutzt werden, wir waren aber meistens vor dem Abendessen zurück und hatten dadurch keine Probleme. Bei voller Belegung ist es möglicherweise etwas hellhörig, weil die Balkone der Zimmer mit Meerblick nur durch eine Glasscheibe voneinander getrennt sind.

“Un rincón maravilloso frente al mar Jónico. Hospitalidad de verdad.”
+Llegar hasta Persephone nos hizo pensar por momentos que nos dirigíamos al fin del mundo… ¡pero qué maravilla descubrir lo que nos esperaba! Un lugar precioso, tranquilo, con una terraza espectacular mirando al mar Jónico y, sobre todo, con una hospitalidad que marca la diferencia. Durante nuestra estancia estuvimos solos y nos hicieron sentir absolutamente mimados. El desayuno fue maravilloso: un buffet preparado con muchísimo cariño, mermeladas caseras, panecillos, huevos, salchichas, bacon… ¡Una auténtica delicia! Además, al regresar encontrábamos la habitación perfectamente recogida y cambiada. Esos pequeños detalles dicen mucho de cómo cuidan a sus huéspedes. Persephone tiene algo que no siempre se encuentra viajando: autenticidad, tranquilidad y personas que consiguen que te sientas realmente bienvenido. Sin duda, uno de esos lugares que recordaremos con muchísimo cariño.

“Deixou a desejar!”
+Na verdade esse hotel foi escolhido de última hora quando recebemos a informação que o hotel que havíamos reservado com mais de 6 meses de antecedência cancelou nossa reserva alegando que estavam com problemas estruturais e iriam fechar para reforma. O hotel que cancelou nossa reserva com poucos dias de antecedência era o Ferdinand Residence.
−Nosso apartamento era no 3° andar. O hotel não tem elevador. Os funcionários foram solicitos e levaram nossa bagagem até o quarto. O café da manhã é pobre em opções e a relação custo benefício é bastante desfavorável.
