“Our stay was quiet, relaxing and comfortable.”
+The location is beautiful and peaceful but still close enough to town. The wood fire was needed as it was cold but certainly added to the atmosphere and kept us warm.

“Mostly relaxing”
+Chalet and surrounds. Close to town. Open space. Peace and quiet
−On the first night my mother has a cockroach crawl up her leg while having a shower. We didn’t know where it went afterwards. Future showers weren’t pleasant thereafter. Spiders in the chalet, back patio lounge chairs and coffee table. Otherwise very nice.

“We really enjoyed staying at lake view chalets”
+Location and property was great, beds were comfy and the wifi fantastic. Firewood was supplied and there were a couple of small bathroom heaters for the mornings too. Everything was great
−Maybe just a bigger heater for the cold Pemby mornings with a toddler but once the fire got going it was fine!

“Great location, good facilities but needs a better option for heating up the building.”
+Great location. A view of the water, sitting amongst the trees, peaceful. Excellent hot water and shower. Great tv options with streaming services available.
−We arrived around 6pm and the building was very cold. There were a couple of very small electric heaters that didn’t really help so you had to light the fire which was the last thing we wanted to do after travelling all day. A split system reverse cycle aircon unit would have been greatly appreciated…

“Pleasant , but somewhat dissppointed.”
+Liked the chalet and views.Wood fire was a bonus. Close to town
−Disappointed as chalet needs maintenance on Shannon.Tap handles loose.Light globes dull , need replacing. Bathroom lights non -existent by day 3. Exhaust fan did not seem to work. Toilet light switch faulty.Sparked couple of times.Half the firewood was wet/ damp.Door locks need lubricating.Mop useless as sponge had fallen off.

“Beautiful location, cottage needed some maintenance.”
+Beautiful location ! Everything that was needed was available Chesterfield couches out the back were great.
−Poorly maintained, it was not that clean, cobwebs on the ceilings, what looked like mould on bedroom ceiling. The doors were hard to open and close. It just felt in need of a good thorough clean and some love. Communication was not great not as I received no text message to confirm arrival details.
