+Very clean and well appointed. I appreciated the communication with staff prior to arrival about parking locations with addresses. This was extremely helpful.
−The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbor’s shower running.

“Fantastic would stay again”
+Amazing location right on the edge of the old town so everything on your doorstep but also nice and peaceful at night. Room was a great size and beautifully kept and staff were happy to help in any way they could.

“EXCELLENT LOCATION. COULD JUST ABOUT REACH OUT AND TOUCH THE OLD TOWN WALL. ALSO HAD A PARK VUE”
+THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT. LARGE ROOM. HAD AC.
−IT IS A CHALLENGE TO FIND PARING AND THERS A SYSTRM TO REMOVE CARS PARLED ILLEGALLY. LOTS OF STEPS UP TO OUR ROOM. KEPT RUNNING OUT OF HOT WATER. LIVING IN THE US HAS SPOILED US. EACH ROOM HAS ITS OWN WATER HEATER.

“Feeling like we slept in the old Split”
+At the entrance of the old town in a nicely renovated old building. Quiet large room. There is a receptionist to welcome you. Walking distance from the station.

−There was a festival on at the time of our stay- we were not informed about this and the music was very loud until 12pm. We have a child so they were unable to sleep as the event was on the green outside.

“Probably would never stay here again because of the location next to the park and that our room had forgotten to get cle”
+The property was nice. We were so excited because it was right next-door to the palace, which was so very very handy to be so close to all of the restaurants, the beauty of the palace and good coffee shops. And so close to the sea so many many choices there to eat and drink and enjoy. We were greeted by Anthony, who was fantastic, he was a very kind, personable, accommodating young man. He gave us some ideas of some great places to eat because it’s so overwhelming with so many told us about good coffee shop to go to. I would be very attentive when you go into your room to the cleanliness of it. if it were not for Anthony, we may not have had as great of an experience, but he was so good to take good care of us. We went to bed that night and this was the dealbreaker for us. There is a park right across from our room that started playing loud repetitive drumming music.It was a beat that was not peaceful. I found myself getting very anxious and upset, it kept us awake for several hours. I’m not sure when it stopped. I just know that when I woke late in the night it would have quit, but I’m guessing it must’ve been about midnight or so. This is not the hotel’s fault there is nothing th
−Loud music in the park right across from the road from us, it started every night about 8 o’clock and went to at least midnight and then on the weekend they started it earlier in the afternoon. I do not know if this was a isolated situation which it totally could of been but our room hadn’t been cleaned. They hadn’t had a guest for a day or two and obviously the maid either forgot to come clean it or got in a hurry and missed it. I’m not sure. But Anthony came in and changed all the beddings and then we decided to leave while he cleaned the bathroom and the rest of the room. He was fabulous. He did a good job of trying to rescue the situation. The room is actually a beautiful room. I guess the owners should make sure to follow up once in a while behind their housekeepers to make sure they are being honest and upright and cleaning the rooms like they’re being paid to do. It makes me feel bad to have to put this in the review, but IF it is something that happens more often than once in a while people need to know about that so that the owners can be sure to remedy the situation. When I read reviews, I appreciate people’s honesty because it can make the difference between a good vacat
