+Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The location is excellent and very convenient, which is a big advantage. A special bonus for us was being able to check in early in the morning after a long and tiring flight. We really appreciated that, especially since the room was not technically supposed to be ready that early. Breakfast was also already available, with a good and reasonable selection. The conditions were comfortable, and the automatic self check-in was a big plus for me personally , very convenient and easy. There are a few small things that could perhaps be improved, which I will mention below as recommendations for the owner. However, considering all the positive aspects mentioned above, I am still giving the hotel a very good rating. Of course, if you look closely, you can always find some minor things that could be better. Overall, though, we had a pleasant stay and I would be happy to recommend the place.
−A few small things that could be improved: * Some minor repairs are needed, for example, the paint is peeling in a few places around the bathroom reveals. * The washbasin tap is quite short, which makes it a little uncomfortable to use. A longer tap would probably be more practical. * The shelf above the bathtub could also use some attention. These are all very small details, but the hotel is otherwise beautifully and expensively finished, so small imperfections like these stand out more. As someone who works in the construction and renovation business, I naturally notice such things, but I think they would also be noticeable to anyone who simply appreciates seeing everything well-maintained and in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend taking care of these small details, because they would make an already very nice place feel even better.

“It is a really good value place to stay at, a B&B that feels more like a hotel, with daily cleaning and breakfast. C”
+It was clean and well positioned. Close to the metro station with lots of local restaurants around. Self checkin was easy and we had no issues. Cleaning was done everyday. Breakfast was served every morning, with coffee and other juices. The addition of a water fountain in the common area was great, we used it a lot. The room/bathroom was clean, the bed was comfy. The staff was also nice. They let us leave our baggage at the common area after checkout.
−The room was a bit run down, could use a new coat of paint. Bathroom could also use a refinish, with the shower tap handle falling off and other small things. The walls between the rooms are also super thin. You can hear everything unless people are whispering. The breakfast was also a bit underwhelming, there was no variety, same breakfast every morning, with little selection. They also said that checkout is at 2pm, but the staff already started knocking on our door at 11am to ask us to leave.

“Nice B&B with served breakfast”
+It was awesome! We stayed for a really little time, but the accommodation was super clean, nice looking… we were feel like in a hotel. Few steps from the B&B were metro stop and also bus stops. The check in was by ourselves, but Sonia (the host) gave us a step by step guide, so it was easy. And the breakfast! In comparison with other B&Bs (this was the third in our journey) this was great. No prepackaged things, but the breakfast WAS SERVED in the lovely kitchen. I would absolutely recommend!
−The only thing I would mention is that it would be nice to have one large mattress instead of two smaller ones on the double bed, as the two mattresses created a gap between them. But it wasn’t a big issue at all.

+The place was really close to everything in Catania, near bus and train station, near the centre, everything is really in walking distance. The personel is also very kind and helpful, really nice people! Room is big and comfortable, breaksfast is good. If I was coming back to Carania would definently stay here again!!!

−We stayed at room 1 which is really close to the breakfast so no sleep after 8am. Also there was an external AC unit which produced a really loud noise it was really loud.

+Struttura semplice, ma molto accogliente, nuova e pulita. Colazione ben gestita, varia e buona. Ho ricevuto una calorosa ospitalità grazie anche a Maria Gloria che si occupa della colazione. Ci ritornerò.
