“Lovely interior grounds and an easy walkable location, but a “meh” room and stay.”
+The interior courtyard with a pool, ponds and fire pits was lovely.
−Our room was small and not very comfortable. The side chair was decorative but uncomfortable and there was little space for 2 large suitcases. Additionally our heating/air conditioning unit did not work. A maintenance tech was sent at 10pm when we discovered this, but couldn’t fix the problem. He was very kind and brought a fan and offered strategies to manage overnight. (They offered a new room, but we had fully unpacked and didn’t want to move so late). The on-site restaurant and main facade is under construction which made it a bit difficult to find the hotel entrance and lobby. Breakfast on-site was an expensive buffet so we opted to go elsewhere. Other than our in-room coffee maker there didn’t appear to be any other coffee options on-site.

“We have always liked at this property, but after this last experience we probably won't again.”
+Everything was nice except the property had major construction going on which was not disclosed when we booked our rooms.
−The construction going on was very disruptive, We had difficulty parking and accessing the property, We were not notified in advance, Also we requested rooms close to each other when we booked and received an email saying they would try their best to accommodate us but when we arrived and checked in they said that was not possible because we had two different types of rooms and they were not in the same building. We should have been told that at booking.

+Perfect location. The hotel was a walking distance to shops, restaurants, and wine tasting.
−Thin walls. You can hear people's conversations from another room.

“Wonderful, peaceful stay!”
+The quiet, the jacuzzi after an active day, the comfy beds, and the night time fire pits.
−Parking was on occasion difficult to find and I’m not sure if ii had to pay for it. If so, very unfair and inappropriate.
