“Not recommended.”
+Only good thing is the location.
−This place is dirty, sheets look like they weren't changed and what looks like a foot print is on the sheets, dirty walls, floors, bugs and filth all over. Definitely don't recommend this place and I won't stay here again.

“Large and clean but noisy”
+The room was large and the beds were clean and comfortable. The TV worked with good reception on all channels. Fresh towels were left on the beds ready for use.
−We were in room 12 which looks over the major intersection, with trucks constantly rumbling past including their exhaust brakes. I had ear plugs but I could still hear the trucks all night. The shared bathroom and kitchen were neat but the hallway floor creaked so loud (expected in an old pub?). Luckily it felt like we were the only people there as I got up early to go to the toilet then have a coffee and it was hard to keep the noise down. I might have been better value for money if it wasn't so noisy all night. Maybe consider providing free ear plugs on the pillow. No facilities in the room to make a coffee but the kitchen was right outside our room.

+The motel downstairs was closed I was the only client for the motel and was not comfortable staying in a big old pub on my own. Karen from management placed me in another motel in town Broadway Motel which was much better, pub was open with good staff and great steak. .
−Parkes hotel is dated, no floor coverings in room,, no clients, eerie being only person. Thanks Karen for moving me.
