“Don't bother taking the risk of not being able to access your room, stay somewhere else!”
+Location not ideal - Oxford Road is very rough, lots of drug addicts and general rough types in that area however good transport links into central Reading - regular buses, easy access to the train station etc.
−After struggling for 20 minutes to open the key lockbox, I eventually managed to open it only to find there was no key inside, hence I was unable to access my room. I attempted to call both Booking.com and the property owner but couldnt get through to either. This went on for over 30mins, as I repeatedly attempted to contact someone so that I could access the property! After sending an email (my 'last chance saloon' prior to cancelling and finding somewhere else to stay), the owner finally came back to me and brought me out the key. Completely unacceptable, as I was waiting in the rain and had a presentation to prepare for. Having asked for a discounted rate due to the inconvenience, I was flatly refused, being told that I'd received a 'room upgrade' as compensation (this is patently untrue - the room was identical in services and features to the one I had originally booked),

“Disappointed and wasn't deluxe”
−There was very little space to manoeuvre in the bathroom as I'm a tall person. There was no toilet paper for me to use which I didn't find out until 3am in the morning going to the bathroom. Waiting for a check in that wasn't given within 1 hr of booking for the same day as property was available. I didn't get into the accommodation until 1am of my booking ... when I booked from 8pm Had to ask for WiFi etc as there was no welcome package for me to just get on with things. The heating wasn't working so had to walk around in the cold. (Health issues) The kettle I couldn't use as it had too much limescale with no filter. The bed was way too soft and bedding wasn't fresh unfortunately and so was the scent in the apartment.

“Enttäuschend.”
−Das Zimmer wurde mir nicht zur Verfügung gestellt, der Betrag jedoch über VISA abgebucht. Tel. Aussage des Vermieters: ich arbeite seit Jahren nicht mehr mit Booking zusammen.
