+This is an absolutely fantastic place. Ten out of ten for comfort cleanliness a great hot shower and convenience for the bus and railway stations. I will definitely be staying there again.

“Disappointing, unsafe unclean fire risk and ruined our weekend”

−The room was 2 floors above a cafe and the only way out was down a narrow steep staircase into the cafe. If a fire was in the cafe there would be no way out. The stairs were dirty, the room was dirty, the floor sloped from one side of the room down to the other which meant when in the bed you felt you were laying on the side of a hill and found yourself tolling to the other side of the bed. Very uncomfortable when trying to sleep with you partner. The tv had very little signal so you couldn’t watch it. This was reported on an earlier review, so the owner had obviously ignored those comments. The rug in the room was disgustingly dirty and curled on one edge causing a trip hazard. Breakfast included but wasn’t served until 09:30 , which is far too late. We couldn’t partake as we had arrangements for 100:00 . We were booked in for 2 nights but stayed only 1 as we were not prepared to stay the 2nd to tolerate those conditions. This in turn cost us extra money as we had to rearrange our travel arrangements via the train home

“A Genuine Welcome With a Smile”
+From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was professional, proactive, and friendly, but what really stood out was the warmth they brought to the experience. There were smiles throughout, and I never felt like I was simply another customer passing through. The team was also incredibly accommodating with my requests. They listened, took the time to understand what I wanted, and made the adjustments wherever they could. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and that willingness to help made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. Even when things were busy, the staff remained attentive and personable, checking that everything was right and making sure I was well looked after. This is the kind of genuine hospitality that matters to me. A heartfelt thank you to the whole team for your kindness, patience, and wonderful service. You made me feel truly welcome, and I appreciated the care you put into making my visit an enjoyable one. So much so, Papa guest is now top of my list when staying in Poole.
