“Was great. Close to beach. Good rooms.”
+Close to beach food staff and supermarket close
−Maybe a shuttle to and from restaurants at night if you don’t have a rental car. People digging and using a wheel barrow by our room at 11pm ???

“Palm Grove is a great choice if you're looking for a relaxed beachfront stay with excellent snorkelling and beautifu”
+We stayed in one of the Beach Bungalows at Palm Grove and overall had a lovely stay. The location is absolutely stunning, although there were a few aspects of the experience that could be improved. The location is incredible. The lagoon right in front of the property is beautiful, with fantastic snorkelling just steps from the beach. It was so convenient to be able to swim straight out from the accommodation, and the complimentary kayaks were a great way to explore the lagoon. Our Beach Bungalow was spacious, with a good-sized bedroom and bathroom. The highlight was definitely the amazing beachfront view from our private balcony,it was the perfect place to sit and relax.
−The complimentary snorkelling gear was available to use, but it wasn't the best quality, so you may prefer to bring or hire your own if snorkelling is a priority. We arrived at 3:30 pm on a Sunday when reception was closed, which meant there was no welcome or interaction with the staff on arrival. During our stay, we noticed other guests being greeted with fresh flower leis, and some were also given fresh coconuts on their departure day. As we checked out at 6:30 am, we missed out on that experience. While these are small gestures, they make a difference, and we did feel a little overlooked. The included breakfast was fairly average. It was adequate but quite basic, and it would have been nice to have some hot options, such as eggs. Finally, it's worth noting that you'll probably want to hire a car or scooter if you stay here, as there aren't many restaurants or dining options within easy walking distance.

“Relaxing and enjoyable stay in a beautiful location.”
+The property was well located with a private beach and good equipment. Local bus stop across the road, supermarket and cafe 500m away. The restaurant served tasty and reasonably priced food and drink. Bonus was happy hour on Fridays (free wine, beer and soft drink) with a band playing. The staff were hard working, helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this accommodation,
−No free wifi - had to buy a vodaphone package,

“A quality resort at a decent price, on a beautiful beach.”
+Breakfast was a basic but plentiful and satisfying cold buffet. The coffee was good! The resort is on a lovely beach and canoeing and snorkeling equipment are provided. There are also lots of activities in the area including swimming with turtles, run by external companies. Public buses pass by the front of the resort.
