“Bad ending to a memorable visit to Matera.”
+Great location. Coming in to the sassi, the staff guided us well to come inside with a car. Breakfast food and service decent. Great views from the terrace and excellent second floor ancient decor!
−Leaving on 23rd we were pushed to leave after 11:15. Communication on WhatsApp was slow and non existent at times. The front staff man starting at his phone on 23rd was rude and never made eye contact. Should never have such a person on the front of this beautiful property. He needs to be at the back baking matera bread. We were pushed to exist the parking lot. Must give advanced notice if there is an event. Don’t make guests feel guilty. There can be many reasons guests may be running behind including illness.

“Fantastic location.”
+Location was amazing.
−Bathroom could do with a renovation. No tea or coffee and cups, even though we had a kettle. Porter can’t drive as he damaged the car.

“We would definitely stay there again”
+Staff was wonderful and helpful. Set up our taxi for us. Rooms were nice and beautiful views out our window. Breakfast was very good!
−Could have been a little cooler in our room. They set the air you can’t set it in your room.

“Perfection”
+Amazing building full of gorgeous art. Views were exceptional from our room. The bed was so comfy and enormous. It was a shame we only had one night!
−Hairy drive getting to the parking in courtyard! Don't even attempt it unless you have a tiny car!

“The location, the room, the view was spectacular.”
+Everything. Bed was very comfortable. The room was amazingly beautiful and the view was spectacular. There a were a classical music concert in the hotel, and we get to hear to it. And it amazing 😻 But First day we were there the breakfast was great, second day not so, no butter, no fruits, no bacon, eggs was super dry. It doesn’t reflect the 4 stars impression.
−Nothing, we like everything. Getting there is a little challenging especially on the weekend.
