“Magical”
+My experience at Palazzo Sbutega was exceptional from the start. I was greeted by Philip and his girlfriend and they immediately made me feel at home. They made reservations for me at a favourite, local restaurant (which instantly became a regular spot for myself and every guest!). The hotel is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. My room was beautiful and spacious. The living areas are welcoming and the communal breakfast area is exactly as they described - you feel like one, big family staying at a friend’s vacation home. The food is healthy and local and Philip makes the best scrambled eggs! I am not a coffee drinker, but every day I heard people rave about Nigel’s coffee. I met Nigel my first evening there and he was beyond welcoming. During my entire stay, he made sure to help with all of my plans that I had booked. I went on his boat a few times and they were very special. I was able to really take in all of the beauty of the bay. Palazzo Sbutega’s location cannot be beat. I would recommend balancing all of your plans with some time relaxing by the water, swimming and paddle boarding.
−Nothing, it was perfect!

“Exceptional experience”
+It was like being welcomed into a friend’s home, Nigel and Filip couldn’t have been better hosts. The house was beautiful and excellently decorated with a fabulous pool. All guests sit around the breakfast table which is wonderfully prepared. We absolutely loved it! Miss it already.

“Carlsberg don’t do bed and breakfasts, but if they did, this would be it - Highly recommended!!!”
+My wife and I stayed at Palazzo Sbutega for our summer holiday in June. We cannot recommend it enough. Nigel is a wonderful host - charming, communicative, and helpful far beyond expectations. Ditto Filip who works with Nigel. The Palazzo is beautifully appointed, clean, and comfortable. It is air conditioned and the pool and gardens are gorgeous. If the sea is more your thing then just across the road from the front entrance is a pontoon from which you can climb or dive into the sea, with sunbeds to lay on. The location is excellent and Nigel and Filip will help with any excursions that you want to embark on. They will also help with recommendations for places to eat and drink. Breakfast is served in the mornings and it is a delightfully communal affair with excellent food and, if you are as lucky as we were with other guests, excellent company. We highly recommend considering staying at Palazzo Sbutega if you are interested in visiting this part of Montenegro - a beautiful and welcoming country. You won’t be disappointed.
−There is nothing that I can criticise about my stay at Palazzo Sbutega. It was superb.
