+Central location. rooftop breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff.
−Maqueda is an annex to another hotel, 100m away. No resident staff, street door did not lock so anybody could walk into the building. Phones were not answered, so if you needed help it was a walk round or WhatsApp. Rooms are on third floor, no lifts. Our bed room was on a mezzanine floor reached by a steep spiral staircase, a challenge in the middle of the night when nature called.

“Too short.”
+Location and room was fantastic. Modern with ancient charm. In the heart of the city, but the room was quiet and relaxing.
−No lift, but staff very accommodating.

“If I had received the notice of where to check in, I could have directed the taxi to go there.”
+I did not receive info about how to check in. Turned out check in is at a different address. The location has 4 floors of stairs to climb with no elevator. Entry after street door show no sign of the place., Had to climb up all the floors to find the name and there was no one there as that is not the place to check in. Rang the bell and finally someone came and told me to go to another address to check in. It was tough carrying my luggage up all those stair steps as they are not all the same height.
−Location is perfect for Palermo. Walk out the door and all the restaurants are there. Short walk to many attractions.

+A great little gem in the thriving historical area. Busy outside but inside the suite was surprisingly quiet. Check-in and out were easy and efficient. Really recommend staying here whilst in Palermo.
−Nothing.

“Hotel muito bem localizado, funcionários muito atenciosos.”
+Gostei do quarto, cama confortável e banheiro espaçoso.
