“Nice hotel but could be so much better”

−Breakfast wasn’t great - big spread but largely consisting of what we didn’t eat the day before - downside of being in a largely empty hotel Staff were interesting - not overly busy - receptionist only seemed there at breakfast and if there was a check in - wasn’t exactly customer focused - more interested in playing her europop numbers at full volume in the reception and breakfast room - had to ask to turn it down. Second Lady was the breakfast lady and cleaner / non cleaner - perfected the art of ensuring you didn’t ask for your room to be cleaned and would be content with the supply of a new loo roll - handed over as you left breakfast - all a bit wierd.

−Two ladies work and have access to the room. Both said we only left have the price of the parking when we left the whole thing. Very distasteful. My friend and I both remember leaving the whole thing as we got the exact amount of cash out for it. Also got charged for eating something out the fridge which we didn’t eat anything out of the fridge? We did drink 3 of the waters but we didn’t eat any of the food.

“Lovely stay”
+Very spacious and clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Very large and enjoyable terrace. Nice swimming pool, although it could be better maintained. Staff were friendly and made an effort to help.
−The location is quite remote, in the middle of nowhere, so a car is needed to get around. The swimming pool was not well maintained. Breakfast was largely disappointing. The food did not feel very fresh, and the overall quality was below expectations.

+Amazing renovated palazzo, truly an original southern Italy experience. Host was wonderful, staff also. They made us feel very welcome!

−Palazzo molto bello, ma arredamento vecchio e usurato. Al momento del check-in, tutto piuttosto confusionario, su quattro camere prenotate, di due non ci sono state consegnate le chiavi, una dimenticanza che ha creato disagio a chi è dovuto tornare a lasciarle. Anche la colazione è stata una grande delusione. Al costo di 8 euro a persona ci aspettavamo sicuramente qualcosa di più, soprattutto considerando che ci era stato chiesto ripetutamente di indicare l'orario in cui avremmo fatto colazione, proprio per farci trovare tutto pronto ed eventualmente preparato al momento. Invece ci siamo trovati davanti a una colazione praticamente inesistente, con prodotti confezionati e freddi, ben lontana da quanto ci era stato fatto intendere. A completare il quadro, il pagamento del parcheggio e della colazione non viene accettato con carta, cosa piuttosto scomoda e poco comprensibile al giorno d'oggi. Nel complesso, un soggiorno caratterizzato da diverse disattenzioni e da un rapporto qualità/prezzo che, per la nostra esperienza, non è assolutamente soddisfacente. Ci aspettavamo un livello di servizio decisamente superiore. Peccato, la struttura ha un grande potenziale.

“Habitación buena, desayuno pesimo”
+La cama era cómoda y la habitación grande y limpia, con una gran terraza. La piscina era agradable para refrescarse.
−La situación es céntrica en casarano pero para salir hay que dar mucha vuelta. Lo peor es el desayuno, que era pésimo, pese a la gran cantidad de opciones en apariencia. Casi todo eran productos envueltos en plástico, bollería y galletas bastante secas y pan duro. Las opciones saladas eran directamente peligrosas, con huevos duros y revueltos hechos de días anteriores, que volvían a ofrecer un día tras otro. Cuando se lo comenté en el check out a la encargada se limitó a negarlo.

“Très beau bâtiment bien rénové mais niveau de service à revoir”
+Le bâtiment est joli, la piscine très sympa et la situation juste à côté du centre. La femme de ménage était adorable également
−Le petit déjeuner était juste horrible, rien n’était frais et certaines choses étaient même rassis. La dame de l’accueil n’était pas très sympa et a failli nous faire payer des snacks du minibar que nous n’avions pas consommé.
