+Well placed. Liked the breakfast arrangement.
−Can hear the guest in room above moving about and on their phone late at night. Possibly due inconsideration than no noise insulation on floor.

“Historic house in Hamilton”
+Great location close to Hamilton amenities. Large room with large king size bed. Liked the bathroom and shower.
−Breakfast could be improved. Price is high in absolute terms but ok relatively to other options in Bermuda.

“The hotel was stylish, spacious and immaculately clean”
+Stylish, spacious, immaculately clean, the staff were very polite and attentive. Very close to the front and bus terminal. Happy hour between 5pm and 6pm was a novel and appreciated addition. You can also use the pool at their sister hotel, the Royal Plaza, only 8 minutes walk away.
−The continental breakfast could have had a bit more variety, it was the same every day. This didn’t detract from our wonderful stay.

“Comfortable, but watch out for extra charges!”
+Location was great, and the one or two staff on-site were very helpful. Room was well appointed.
−A mandatory 10 tip for staff on a $1,500.00 bill for three nights is robbery, island style. Especially when I tipped the maid $10 a day and only learned of the Mandatory charge at checkout. It was not on the website and I can guarantee you it is not going to the one or two staff there a day. Counting the number of rooms multiplied by $500 a night rates, someone is pocketing over $600.00 a day in tips. These rates may have been high for a sporting event, but I don't agree with mandatory service charges when taxes and rates are so high.

“Mediocre”
+Didn’t have time
−Hook on bathroom door fell off when I hung my towel on it. The ceiling lamp fixture in the center of the room is way too low, I hit it at least 3-4 times, super uncomfortable and just odd. Room is small which is fine but space is not used well at all, getting to the window is awkward and the bathroom door just blocks you…. It should use the space smarter for this price , need better design. Desk chair is uncomfortable. Rug in room feels dirty
