“Clean, modern hotel with amazing views of the mountains”
+Amazing hotel! The facilities were great and super clean. The room was modern and had a kitchen, which was great. Views of the mountains were stunning, we were genuinely sad to leave. Can’t wait for our next trip out there!

“Great stay!”
+Beautiful property. The hot baths are so cool. Beds are so comfy. Centrally located in Banff. Big shout out to Cade who helped us book our transportation and everything for Lakes Louise and Moraine! Massive help, patient, and excellent hospitality

+Amazing pool and amazing view! The room was clean, and the service was great!
−The only complaint I have is that the bed and pillows weren’t comfortable.

“Otter exceeded our expectations in every way possible.”
+The staff was courteous, welcoming, and efficient. House keeping was excellent…when we had the do not disturb sign, we were left alone. When we left for the day, house keeping cleaned without moving our personals, which is exactly how we like it. The facilities were clean throughout, rooms-bathrooms-hallway bathrooms-hot tubs and sauna. We had reservations in a nearby town for the second half of our stay, and after seeing the difference, we returned to the Otter for the remainder of our vacation.
−The sign out front needs to be more visible from the street.

“Banff's Gem”
+The hotel was amazing - amazing location and all amenities were fantastic. Food was really nice and really gave a cabin feel whilst been a luxury hotel.
−The staff were at times too efficient ...lack a personal touch which we attempted when arriving. But other than that it was perfect.

“Super nice, modern hotel with clean, comfortable and spacious rooms, along with nice outdoor spaces for guests to gather”
+We loved the overall look and cleanliness of the property. It was modern and beautiful! We had a really comfortable stay. Our room had a large sitting area near the TV and a kitchen with barstools, along with a balcony with views of the mountains.
−The only negative, and it’s not entirely a negative, is that the property is located on the quieter end of the Main Street in Banff. We actually enjoyed the quiet and we liked walking to the restaurants on the other side of town. There was a free shuttle too. Some people may like being in closer proximity to the part of town where more restaurants and shops are.

“Would use again”
+The staff on check-in were very pleasant and helpful.. The room was a good size with a balcony, and the beds were comfortable. Nice bathroom.and shower. Just a 15 minute stroll into the town or a free shuttle if you prefer. Lovely restaurant on site.
−It's a bit pricey, but no more than other similar hotels in the area.
