+Location, cleanliness, firm bed, clean bathroom, nothing much going on but cool for me. You cannot make a simple meal, only a microwave(Not working well) Fridge & a small electric kettle. I was there twice, total 7 nights, I found Only 1 spoon, 1 folk, 2 coffee cups, some plates thats it! (They can do better, these are the very basic) I know what I'm talking about as I've been to 92 countries & stayed in many great hostels, B&B, homestay, cabin, etc. The owner Yuri is a nice guy just doing his best, well,.. his mom needs to "Cheer up a bit":) Not that friendly which is not that hard to be happy & friendly honestly especially in the hospitality industry. I have my own B&B, I know the nature of this business.
−Weak shower, the constant noices from the street which is everywhere in Palermo, Catania etc..so,dont expect a peaceful sleep.

“Fantastic, but be prepared”
+The hostel itself is clean, quite small but has everything you need with a little kitchen with microwave and tea/coffee making facilities
−While it's great that it's central in the historic area, the noise from the streets below is very loud until around 3am - lots of shouting, music and motorbikes. This is to be expected because of the location, but bring ear plugs to get through it.

+Bed was clean
−The bathroom and shower were clean but the experience was terrible because you’re expected to shower in a bathtub and the ceiling is so low that you have to bend over to shower. The toilet is right next to the door which is just a thin plastic sliding door... so basically everyone can hear everything you do and you can hear everything too.
