“A Charming Stay with Wonderful Hospitality”
+When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the owner’s wife, who showed us to our room where green tea and treats were waiting , a lovely touch, especially as it was pouring with rain. The room, while slightly retro, was full of character and wonderfully peaceful. We loved sitting by the window, listening to the rain and gazing out at the mountains until dinner. Dinner did not disappoint , it was the best meal we had in Japan. The owner was a real character and made the experience even more memorable by chatting with us as he served the food. When we checked out, we were able to leave our bags while we explored the local shrine trail. As we hadn’t reserved a bus seat, the owner kindly offered to call a taxi for us, though fortunately we managed to catch the local service in the end.

“Awesome food and very very accomodating owners!”
+I highly recommend choosing both breakfast and dinner. The food is plentiful and very very delicious and it is served with a lot of care. I could leave my luggage in the morning and was given maps and suggestions as well as directions. I was also provided with a bell to scare away bears as I was hiking alone. In the morning, The Owner's daughter drove me all the way till kagami lake, waited patiently while I took a lot of pics and then drove me all the way to Okusha. Very accommodating and very very helpful. The property is a heritage property and worth staying in. The room and futon were not too fancy but clean and comfortable.

+部屋は純和風で、こたつに入りながらゆっくりくつろげたのはよかったです。 窓の外には紅葉に色づいた庭が広がり、その向こうには山々も見え、自然を感じながら過ごせるよい部屋でした。 食事は朝夕ともに広々とした個室でいただくことができ、料理も大変おいしく、満足できました。 改善してほしい点については「良くなかった点は？」の欄に記載しましたが、総合的には満足しています。
−お風呂は家族風呂のような利用形式で、予約制ではないため、 実際に行ってみないと空いているかどうかわからず、少し不便に感じました。 朝食は7:30からが基本のようでしたが、早めに出発したかったため、7:00に変更をお願いしたところ、 あまり快く思われていないような対応で、チェックイン早々、少し残念に感じました。 宿泊した部屋では、利用できるコンセントが見当たらなかったため、 テレビのコンセントを抜いて、携帯電話の充電やパソコンの使用をしていました。 すると、テレビの電源を抜いたことで、全室のテレビに関係する設備にも影響があったようで、 女将さんが慌てて部屋に来られ、注意を受けました。「抜かないようにも書いてあります」と言われ、 後から確認すると、確かにコンセントの横の柱に、電源を抜かないよう英語で注意書きがありました。 ただ、照明が十分に当たらない陰になった場所で、足元に近い位置にあり、 注意書きも英語だったため、少し気づきにくいように感じました。 チェックイン時にひと言説明していただくか、こたつの上など目につきやすい場所に、 日本語や英語など複数の言語で注意書きを掲示していただけると、 よりわかりやすかったのではないかと思います。事前に説明がなかったこともあり、 こちらが悪いことをしたかのような口調で注意を受けた点は、少し残念でした。

“Ein unvergessliche charmante Unterkunft mit hervorragender Küche.”
+Typisches japanisches Ryokan 1 Stunde Busfahrt von Nagano entfernt. Sehr ruhig. Wir hatten genügend Platz Das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet und das Frühstück auch. 1A 😋. Das Personal war sehr nett
−Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Auf den Gägen war es anf Pktober schon frosch. Die bewohnten Räume aber gemütlich geheizt.

+ご飯がおいしい。 ここのお風呂で筋肉痛知らず。 ご主人も奥様も優しくて、細やかな気遣いがすごい。 ゆったりとくつろげるお部屋。気持ちいい。
