“Country character and comfort.”
+Beautiful country cottage which is furnished with unique antique furniture and accessories and is warm and comfortable. Claudia is an outstanding welcoming host and her breakfasts are sublime.

“Great time in Grewelthorpe!”
+Traditional Yorkshire cottage in a pretty village. A warm welcome from Claudia who looked after us during our stay. The cooked breakfast was delicious and was made even more enjoyable with chats around the kitchen table with Claudia and Pepper. A very relaxed homely atmosphere. The bed was soooo comfortable, bedroom cosy and warm, and plenty of hot water. We loved the village of Grewelthorpe, pub 2 doors up! Excellent fish and chips. Hackfall Woods walking distance too. Perfect for walking our dog. Grewelthorpe is in a good location for visiting Ripon and Harrogate.

“Wonderful break”
+Claudia and pepper were wonderful hosts. The cottage is welcoming and as a home from home feeling. The breakfast was delicious and this is one of the best breaks away that we've had. Would definitely return in the future.

“A home away from home with the most amazing host”
+The highlight of our stay was definitely our host, Claudia. She is a truly wonderful woman who turns a stay into a drepy personal experience - we genuinely felt like we were visiting family. Every morning we woke up to the amazing smell of breakfast, as Claudia prepared generous portions of food made with love. As she says herself, the kitchen is her playground, and you can tell - she truly works magic with every meal. Each morning, we had long conversations with her. Claudia shared stories about her family, insights about the country, and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. One day, she even took the time to personally show us a hidden path into the nearby forest - such a special moment. The accommodation itself was also exceptional. Our room was incredibly cozy and had everything we needed - 100% comfort. We had access to a lovely front garden where we could sit and listen to the birds flying around like crazy. From our window, we had a view of a small park with ducks, and from the bathroom we could see the garden, full of birdsong and beautiful sunlight. In the evenings, we could relax in the bathtub and just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. We also had some love

−En suite bathroom in the process of being completed so no door! Lack of privacy. More hanging space in bedroom would be desirable.
