“THE BEST HOTEL IN OUR TRIP”
+Wonderful place. We love everything in that house. The location, the decoration, the stile of the house, everything is so beautiful. The bed and bath was comfy and clean. Our best hotel in our trip, after being in two regular hotels, one ARBV, one luxury hotel, this was the top of the top.

+Great old house
−Staircase bannister too low for comfort I’m 74 years old and bathroom for room I stayed in was across the hall. Other bedrooms included bathroom

“We would love to be able to return to Open Gates”
+Zach and Carrie were amazing hosts. Zach presented us with an outstanding breakfast each day. Our bed was very comfortable and the linens were very inviting. Our room was very large, and we had more than enough space. We were only a couple blocks from the center of the historic area and were able to walk everywhere to experience this lovely small town.

+It was beautifully preserved, and even looked to have period correct preservation implements aside from the metal roof and modern, comfortable bath, situated in a perfect, walkable location, and the breakfast fare was spectacular.
−We had a little miscommunication around arrival due to Booking's email relay system. You must respond to messages relayed from Booking to email via Booking. You cannot respond to messages from your host via Booking email relay.

“We were charmed by Darien and Zack and Carrie were excellent hosts.”
+Ideal location for exploring Darien, a walkable coastal treasure with majestic tree-lined streets and abundant natural treasures. We especially appreciated the comfort and ease of the place.
−We couldn’t have been more content with the place. The beds are cozy, the house is beautifully decorated with multiple places to rest, read and plan your days.

“Open Gates Bed and Breakfast and the City of Darien is a perfect blend of comfort and charm.”
+Open Gates Bed and Breakfast and hosts Zach and Carrie, provide a first-class environment to relax and enjoy the second oldest city in Georgia. The 1876 manor house is very comfortable and charming, the breakfast is five-star.
−The quality of service leaves little opportunity for improvement as the facility, staff and services were incredible.
