“Cute but cold in the late fall.”
+The railcar was cute, and as a novelty stay, met my expectations. Great location near town. Self-check in was easy. The steampunk theme was cleverly accomplished, right down to the light switches.
−We stayed here October 23rd, and even though there were two mini-splits, they did not keep the car warm. At 4:30AM we finally got up and increased the temperature 70 to 85, but the mini-splits just weren't up to the task and eventually automatically shut off. The wall heaters were also ineffective. The walls and floor were cold; in fact, every surface was cold and we could not get it warm, indicating insufficient insulation.

+I liked the Christmas theme of the train car that we picked. It was actually very spacious and felt very homely but also keep the train car feeling very authentic.
−Nothing everything was perfectly located

+This is such a cool place where they repurpose old caboose cars and give them a new life. Each car has its own unique theme.

“My husband was happy about the train car.”
+The train car was cute and the bed was really nice.
−The TV didn't work well with the internet and the fireplace makes a lot of noise.

“A great place to stay.”
+Fun experience sleeping in a caboose. Our train car was decorated in a Christmas theme which I enjoy. The last part of December I put on a red suit and am Santa's helper.

“Quirky, Characterful accommodation”
+A quirky and unique place to stay. Good local amenities including grocery store
−Not a spacious accommodation- that’s part of the deal, but worth being aware. One small cupboard, no drawers and our particular caboose had a lovely tin bath but no shower - again, just part of the experience

“Unique experience we'd happily repeat!”
+This was such a fun place to stay! Surprisingly roomy, well decorated, and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well, which made it feel like the perfect combo of a hotel and a camp site. We'd definitely stay here again!
