3.0“Not value for money”
+We paid a lot for the two nights stay, Outside was like a dump, broken fences, shed, rusty barbecue, not cleaned. Bench you could not sit on because of the dirt, broken decking. No WiFi although it states that it has. Looked in guest book and all state no WiFi available. Missing items in kitchen i.e frying pan. Good job it was only for two days.
−That the outside could have been cleaned up. Fences and shed taken away, items repaired. Cleaned facias and guttering. Grapes vines left unpicked. It all looked dreadful and not what was antipated.

8.0“Lovely lodge, hard to get to, rubbish bins not emptied from when the bistro closed.”
+Lovely place but a little difficult to get to
−Lack of wifi, even though it was supposed to be available. TBF, this wasn't the fault of the owner. but more a problem with BT

8.0+The view was amazing and was so uplifting to wake up to every day. We saw rabbits, squirrels, a wide variety of birds (including a woodpecker and birds of prey), and two deer! The location was so peaceful with a feeling of safety. It was easy to reach many of our favourite places. The lodge was clean and tidy, generally, and stylish. We loved it and had beautiful weather.
−The outside areas of the lodge need attention: blown down, old fences need replacing, decking and deck furniture need revarnishing, bins need emptying (large bins were overflowing with animals spreading waste around area), pot hole needs filling.

8.0“We enjoyed our stay”
+Very nice stay for a week. Enjoyed a lot. Very calm place, no noise. Nice views
−No WiFi due to temporary technical issue. Would be nice to have more plates, cups, goblets and cutlery.

4.0“borring”
+The cottage was lovely located in the vinyards and were comfortable
−The location was empty and dead. We where there alone, other cottages where empty except for 1 or 2 days. This felt not safe. The main reason to book was the active vinyard with bistro was closed! Would not book if I new it on forehand and without facilitiies it is overpriced

1.0“I do not recommend”
+Nothing
−The description on Booking.com is inconsistent with the facts. The area looks abandoned. We did not decide to sleep there because it did not seem safe there, I do not recommend it, the price is very high for a regular lodge without any facilities, and this is not as described, the restaurant is closed permanently, there is nothing there except bad experience .Unfortunately, we lost £500 for 2 days and had to rent a hotel.

6.0“Was very disappointed was not the experience we was expecting to have”
+Website is not accurate as we were very disappointed that we didn’t experience the full facilities as the restaurant have been closed down and winery was no longer open so all we had was the chalet. I need to update and let people know that’s all been taken away.
−I cooked itself was very nice use outstanding but nothing else to do

7.0“Lovely lodge but needs decent WI-FI”
+The lodge was lovely and the location was very quiet and tranquil. The beds were comfy and it had a well equipped kitchen.
−The WI-FI was a big disappointment as my family needed to work from home. They had to pay for an office space. Also there could have been black-out curtains on the windows and doors and a blind in the kitchen area window. The phone signal was very very slow too. Such a shame !
