+The location was really great. The Host was very helpful. And the room was very unique.
−Florence is an old city and at times the water demand results in very poor water pressure for a couple of hours. But let's face it you didn't come here for the water pressure! Go with the flow...

“Had to leave for a hotel- dirty, inconvenient, and out of date”

−When we got to the room, it looks about 20 years older than the photos shown. I noticed there were no blankets on the bed and began to check cupboards to find some. The one I found was shoved into a cupboard in the bedroom with horrible, new stains all over it. I got in contact with the person I had been talking to who assisted in getting me into the room and she provided a different apartment a couple blocks away and said it was an upgrade. When I got there, it was even worse than the first. Again, dirty linens, no outlets worked, the apartment itself was out dated and gross. I ended up getting a hotel elsewhere and am still waiting on my refund request. This place alone made me a believer in hotels and I will NEVER attempt to rent a room or apartment again

+- GREAT location - Spacious for a room in the city center - Loved the decor/overall aesthetic - Didn't find it particularly noisy, but my husband and I live in a city so we're used to a bit of noise always humming in the background. - Hosts provided clear instructions for getting there ahead of time.
−- No amenities. Coffee and tea maker but no coffee or tea provided. - Limited communication with hosts; when we did reach out with a need (cleaning, toilet paper), it took them a long time to respond. - Bed & pillows were hard as rocks. - Fine that they don't come by daily to clean and restock soap and toilet paper (this is a rental after all; we don't expect hotel levels of service here), but then they should make sure to provide enough of each for the duration of the stay. We ran out of soap and toilet paper after two days (and we were barely there!). - Shower is small and set up in a way that you WILL get water on the floor of the bathroom no matter how hard you try to avoid it. Why anyone would design a shower door to swing like old Western saloon doors is beyond me. - The duvet provided is FILTHY. We slept without (which made for some cold mornings). - Missing other small touches that would've made this place worth the price: Chromecast or similar streaming capabilities for the TV (there was only Italian cable), a soap dish for the bathroom sink (otherwise that bar of soap is gonna just...sit there), toiletries that aren't a 2-in-1 body/hair wash combo. +Clean and great location. Right next to Ponte Vecchio Bridge. Staff was easy to communicate with. Great AC. King bed. Loved it! Not too far from train station- walkable.
−Only negative is bathroom is downstairs from the bed. It wasn’t a big deal for us but could be for others.

−We didnt know that there was s limit of hot water.. if somebody is in the shower for 10 minutes next person doesn’t have any hot water. We talked to a lot of people renting or staying for limited time and nobody heard of this problem ever…Owner explained that they have w boiler that has a limited amount of hot water per time. Very dissatisfied

“A very disappointing stay...not worth the money!”
+The location was the only good thing.
−The Suite was much smaller that conveyed in the photos. The shower was so small if you turned sideways the door opened and the water from the shower went out onto the floor. There was only a Donna insert available that was very heavily stained and had a piece cut out. There was NO Donna cover available. Luckily, the sheets were clean. The couch was only big enough to fit small bottom and was very low to the ground that made it difficult to get up. The cover that was over the couch was grubby and aged.. The small chair was only partially upholstered. In all, a very disappointing stay that was nothing like the appealing photos and certainly not worth the money.

“Great location for either solo or a couple”
+Really great location, and a really nice apartment. I went solo, but it would be absolutely great for a couple as well
−The lighting in both the entrance and the bathroom didn’t work very well. Also: WATCH YOUR HEAD ON THE TOP FLOOR. I banged my head quite a few times… Would have loved to have a to have a proper table to eat at and work at. Would be great with just a couple of bar chairs by the kitchen or another table. A bigger trash bin would be great… Consider putting in a drawers by the kitchen. Makes finding cutlery a bit nicer.
