“Enjoyed our night & included breakfast at the inn, but the mattress could have been better!”
+The staff were nice and friendly and breakfast was really good. The bar/restaurant was a nice to have after a long wet day. The old inn had atmosphere.
−One side of the Queen side bed was really uncomfortable.

−Parking can be abit of a problem if you come too early ie 4.30pm but by 6pm there was a free space right outside

+Location and staff … they couldn’t have been more helpful or polite ☺️.. & the food was delicious, we had an evening meal on our first night and breakfasts both morning which was plentiful
−Bedroom decor is getting a little tired, but our room was clean and more than adequate for our stay.

+The location was very good there was a storm the night I stayed at the hotel so I couldn't watch TV

“Disapointed as we were really looking forward to our stay”
+The bar in the pub was nice and the evening meal on our two nights stay was really good. The staff were also friendly and there was music on the first night of our stay which was also very good.
−The breakfast on our first morning was greasy not so good. We did not bother to eat breakfast on our second morning. Our bedroom was of a good size but very cold when we arrived. The radiator in the room did not work, but the was a electric radiator in the room which did work but was in my opinion dangerous as it had two of its four wheels broken of and it lent to one side. You would not have been able to use it if there were children in the room as the risk would have been too great. The pressure of water in the shower is not great and the water is only just warm enough. Also our bed was not made up during our stay even though the cleaner came in and replaced the used coffee cups. The room is badly in need of a refurb.

“Lovely characterful break by the old harbour.”
+The staff were all really helpful and friendly. The location must be the best in Minehead. Excellent and very generous breakfast and meals were similarly generous if a bit pricey. There was a good selection of drinks at the bar. Our room looked out over the harbour so we had a fabulous view. Our dog was well received everywhere and there's plenty of good walking and year-round access to the beach.
−The bathroom was a bit small and the room a little cool. Fortunately there was an electric radiator which I'm afraid we had to use.
