“It's definately 10 out of 10 for us!”
+The cottage is lovely, comfortable, warm and cosy. The proprietor was extremely welcoming, and went out of her way to ensure everything was to our liking. We found her local knowledge very helpful when we wanted restaurant recommendations, and when we wanted to use the local bus service to visit Stratford Upon Avon. The village is a 25 minute bus ride from the centre, and the bus is literally a door to door service to the centre. It was great to sit back and enjoy the scenery rather than be concentrating on driving, so I would say it's a very convenient location if you want to enjoy seeing all the sights of Stratford but would also enjoy the contrast of the quieter ambiance of a quaint rural village on the river. The beds are dreamily comfortable, and the facilities exactly what you would expect. And breakfast was perfect! With "help yourself to" delicious fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, and orange juice, along with a wide selection of hot (beautifully cooked to order) breakfast favourites. It's definitely 10 out of 10 for us!

“A very enjoyable stay at a lovely location”
+Lovely breakfast really enjoyed it. The room was very nice with a good view saw a squirrel both mornings . The building was delightful with all its beautiful decor and quirky features . The walk in shower was really nice and a good size . Everything was great

“The Gem in Bidford-on-Avon!”
+A beautiful little place right on the high Street. Charming, full of character with great service from the owner. Clean and tidy with everything you need to hand. The food was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

+Delightful house; our room was meticulously clean and had a very nice modern bathroom and comfortable bed. Sue provided an excellent breakfast and was very accommodating when we encountered delays in our anticipated arrival time due to a flight cancellation.

“I would like to go back for longer and explore the area.”
+Lovely old building and very kind hostess who gave us a fan and iced water as it was very hot weather.She very kindly carried our cases up and down stairs as well.
−The only problem was the hot weather but that wasn’t the fault of the property!!!!

“Beautiful beamed cottage, welcoming hostess.”
+Beautiful beamed cottage, thank you Sue for welcoming us into your lovely home and making sure we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Beds were comfy, breakfast was fabulous, the fresh fruit salad was a lovely treat! Location great, three pubs serving food (two by the riverside)plus indian restaurant all within couple of minutes walk. Parking is free on the road outside. We will definitely come back to do some walking in the area.
