“Would definitely come back”
+The location of the hostel is great - it's directly in the old town (as the name states) and you can reach the most popular sights with the frequent bus lines. I thought the hostel was very clean and staff was really friendly&helpful. Also felt safe walking there as a female solo traveller in the dark.
−The mattress was worn out, but overall I would say that everything else was perfect.

“the facilities need work”
+The hostel organizes social events every night, which made it easy to meet other travelers. It’s a great perk for solo guests.
−The bathroom has no fan, so the room got very muggy while everyone was showering. There are also no hooks in the bathroom or inside the lockers, which makes it hard to keep your things dry and off the floor. Please add several hooks, because you can never have too many. The bathroom floors were also often wet throughout from the showers. Bunk assignment felt unfair. I stayed three nights and was given the top bunk, while a guest who arrived the same night and stayed only one night got the bottom bunk. The top bunk was a hassle to deal with for my entire stay. A guest near me also dropped an iPad from the top bunk, so a safety rail or reminder might help. The staff also seemed disorganized. A sign said to drop your key card in a box if checking out early. When I asked about it, I was told it hadn’t applied for nine months and should have been taken down. At checkout in the morning, nobody was at the front desk. A staff member eventually came upstairs and said “one minute,” even though I told her my Uber was already waiting. Returning my key deposit then took only a few seconds, so the delay felt unnecessary.

“Overall, this is a nice place to stay and offers good value for money if you do not mind the other issues.”
+Location. Best location to stay if your plan is to visit the old town areas. The room and beddings are clean. Front desk staff were commendable and accommodating. They helped us with our large luggage, as there are a few steps to climb before reaching the lift, and one staff member help carried our luggage down from the third floor as the lift broke down on checkout day.
−Only one towel for each guest. No bath mat was provided. Shampoo dispenser not working. The noise from the bar downstairs and neighboring rooms can be disturbing, especially for light sleepers. The reception area also serves as the bar counter, so the smell of smoke was quite noticeable when entering the property.

“Super”
