+its got a great view... the staff was nice... but all of that was irrelevant due to what happened...
−we left early due to every day complaining of cigarette smoke, and its illegal in the state of California to smoke in hotels. after waking up on the today we canceled our 3rd night due to this as it was affecting my health and my sleep. i woke up today choking in my bibap machine to smoke inhalation. i demanded a refund for the 3rd night and they said i need to talk to bookings.com for a refund...

“If you want to stay on the beach for under $200 and can overlook an aging hotel this is a great option!”
+The location can’t be beat! Incredible views and you can walk right to the beach
−Hallways and entryways were pretty dirty. The booking.com price was lower than what we paid at the desk- the room on booking became unavailable after I talked to the desk and we ended up paying a much higher price for the room.

“Shit stated 1 out of 3 nights”
+Location was good
−My family and I came from Phx AZ to see the redwoods . We checked in on 10- 14- 26 late around 11:30 pm went to the room and passed out from the drive. Got up the next morning to find hair in the beds not one or two peices but clumps in both beds. Went and spoke with front desk let her know we needed new sheets for the beds " she said house keeping will have them changed within the hour " So we went on our way exploring the city and redwoods. We returned to the room around 7:00 pm to find the new sheet hand in a bag on the door handle. Wife started changing the sheet then found more and more hair under all the sheets both bed wife went and got the guy at front desk to look at and he took pictures as well . I spoke with the manager Nicholas about the matter he was rude and a smart ass about replacing the sheet didn't give to f's about the hair. So we packed our bags left Thursday night at 7:30 pm its now Friday at 4:30 pm just getting back home . Waste of time and money.

“Would not go back and don’t recommend this place.”
+Location. Nice view
−Outdated. Cleanliness. Window has broken screen can’t open window to enjoy the ocean view and sounds. Bathroom was stinky and toilet flush kept running. Some towels had holes and stains. Coffee maker was in the bathroom. Room and A/C was so dusty. My family got sick we had to cut our stay short. Had to go to urgent care. I asked front desk for a refund but they said to email booking.com. I sent email but sis not get rwplu.

+The location was very nice. The heater in our room was quiet. The shower had great water pressure
−The room was cold and run down. Floor was dirty. Putting a "slate" floor in the hallway outside looked very nice, but made anyone going by VERY loud.

“Not worth it. Tourist trap at best”
+Give credit for being in the ocean. But with the fog and luck of the draw if you get a good view from your room
−Very very loud. Paper walls. Ceiling. Couldn’t have door open to hear the ocean at night bc other guests were yelling and drinking on balconies. Every footstep of someone in room above could be heard. Sounded like kids running around and someone rearranged furniture daily. Pillows were terrible had to go to Walmart and buy one just to get some sleep.
