5.0“Great location, lovely cleaning stafff, very old room decor, too expensive for the price, security poor.”
+Location - quiet and close to beach, Hillarys and shops if you have a car
−Very old property, cracked sink in bathroom, shower curtain balanced on a rail not screwed in, sliding door doesn’t close properly, front door is just a regular turn the knob to lock and a chain, old bed and sheets and towels are worn out. Even the key lock repository for out of hours collection is ancient .

5.0“Property need renovation”
+Near the beech
−The property was old. There were window spider webs. The shower was too old and dripping all the time. The safe lock was broken. The washroom mirror has rusty spots on it and was unclear. Kitchen was not clear enough.

3.0“This sad old girl needs a reno”
+The view was the highlight & close to cafes & restaurant. Also close to the bus stop & the beach. The bed was comfortable.
−No staff on arrival & I didn't receive any info on how to get a key. Another resident had to call them for a lock box number. Then climb outside stairs to my room. On entering my room I discovered my shower was over a spa bath....very unsafe for an old lady pushing 80!!! There were numerous tiles cracked and skirting boards coming away from the wall. In general it was a very sad room in desperate need of a renovation. Would have been a lovely motel back in the 1990s.

7.0“A good motel for a short stay”
+We stayed in Room 18 for one night, midweek, while in Perth and found it to be reasonable value for a short stay. The room was fairly basic, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed as base camp for the night. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in quick, easy and hassle-free. The location is good, with easy access to nearby beaches, cafes, and local attractions, although we didn't visit any of them due to our schedule. While some of the facilities are a little dated, everything was functional and maintained, and it met our requirements. If you're looking for affordable accommodation in a good location and you don't need luxury amenities, the Ocean Beach Motel is a solid choice for a night or two. We'd happily stay again for a short visit.
−Even though it was a Wednesday night, it was a full house and parking is very limited. When we got back from our function there was no parking available in the complex so we had to park out on the street. Not a deal breaker, but worth noting.

9.0+Close walk to beach front and shops.
−Lack of car parks. 2 very bright lights on back of room 5 make it seem like its daylight all the time.

1.0+Nothing really
−I like nothing in this hotel. The room was a third grade and expensive to other motels. Very dated ancient rooms. Dirty bathroom. I am not going to go there again.
