“Excellent pub/B&B, lovely atmosphere and staff.”
+We loved the traditional look to the pub/B&B. The owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were a decent size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was lovely, plenty of choice and served hot. The pub itself was lovely, lovely local people, no idiots lol, plenty of choice of drinks and very reasonable prices. They didn't do meals during the day but had a selection of homemade sandwiches to purchase, there was entertainment on, disco and karaoke on the Saturday night which lots joined in with. We would definitely return again in the future. X

“It was not the easiest place for disability”
+Bed was ok, but sofa bed didn’t work, my younger child slept on her own downstairs, she didn’t feel comfortable. breakfast was fair, toilet was a bit low for disabilities

“Trip to Beamish Museum”
+The staff and the locals were very friendly and welcoming. The Oak Tree has a lot going on, e.g. local acts, karaoke and bingo. The Oak Tree is a great pub and it is well supported by local residents.
−We stayed in the annex this time. The bedroom was great. The only issue was the bathroom was very small.
