7.0“The stay was ok but the room definitely has some issues. Would be difficult to stay here for longer than one night. The”
+The room was clean and you could see that the owner puts a lot of care into it. It had a coffee machine, kettle and a couple of snacks. The shower was nice. The location was very central. Finding parking was pretty difficult but I saw the owner had some recommendations. In general, it was ok for a fairly low price, not sure if it’s more expensive in summer.
−Parking near the room would be harder for anyone with a big car or not a lot of experience driving in small streets. The room has a strong humidity problem, mostly because it does not have any windows. The door is onto the street so that can also not be left open. It would help to put in a dehumidifier. The owner uses a lot of air fresheners to try and cover up the problem, making the smell not pleasant. There were also a few mosquitos. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The closet’s door was broken, making it difficult to open it.

9.0“Cozy stay with great value and warm hospitality”
+The communication with the host was excellent, super responsive on WhatsApp and gave us clear instructions for self check-in, plus tips on where to park for free. They also shared some great restaurant recommendations. The room was right in the heart of town, just a few minutes' walk from Via Atenea. Awesome location!
−Everything was great overall! If I had to mention one thing, it would be the slight smell in the room from the humidity, probably because there’s no window (which we already knew from the photos). It wasn’t too strong, and we barely noticed it after a few minutes. The bed could’ve been a bit comfier too. But honestly, the host’s warm hospitality and the great value for money more than made up for it!

10.0“Exceptional”
+Great accomodation in the middle of centro storico and close to the central train station. The hostess was very kind and replied fast (she even let us store our luggage for a few hours after we had checked out). We did a self check-in without any problem. The room was very nice and clean (we really enjoyed the ambient lights). The breakfast was very tasty as well. It was overall a great addition to our trip.
−The wifi was really slow.

8.0“Very good”
+Room was nice and cozy.
−I knew Agrigento was on a hill but this location is up! Need to be in shape if you are going to be on foot. There is not much natural light.
