+The owner was welcoming and very helpful.
−The location wasn't easy to find. No signage with the name Note Bene. We passed it twice before the owner came to the door and shouted to us that he was there.

“Perfect”
+Literally perfect. Most helpfully friendly couple who go above and beyond expectations, let us check in early and leave bags till end of the day on our last day, supply you with everything you need and extras available to take, perfect location 3 minutes walk from where Ubers drop off and the same down to the main areas of the old town, quiet, clean and comfortable spacious room

+Excellent location, the host paid attention to every little details that the guest might needed. For ex, we did not have an adaptor and he just gave his as present in order we could use it in our further trip/apartment.

“An incredible stay in Dubrovnik”
+Location was handy being near the Buza Gate entry for coming and going with luggage. (not too many stairs) Had a great restaurant right next door which we ate at twice .. food was excellent. Dado was a great host that would always respond quickly and helpfully when contacted. Great having a terrace more or less outside bedroom (outside space to hang up washing and sit at to relax.) Note Bene also has a shop near the Ethnographic Museum that offers coffee and local home made products like fig jam, herbs and spices etc. Right at that location there is a lovely garden bar great to sit relax and have a drink.

“Exceptional hospitality, clean and comfortable rooms, and unparalleled bicycle access and storage”
+If you are touring by bicycle, finding accessible accommodation in Dubrovnik's stair-heavy Old Town is a major logistical challenge. Note Bene Rooms is the perfect solution. We specifically booked this place for its easier access, and it exceeded expectations. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. The route along the upper path involves only small sections of stairs equipped with multiple cargo ramps, making it incredibly easy to roll loaded bikes right up to the property. The true standout, however, is the hospitality. The owner met us directly at the Buža Gate to guide us to the rooms. Once there, we had access to a locked courtyard for secure bike storage. The host's generosity went above and beyond. We bumped into a fellow cyclist from our ferry crossing who was facing the near-impossible task of hauling his loaded bike down the steep, endless stairs to his own accommodation deep in the old town. Seeing he was in a bind, our host generously offered to let him park his bike in the secure courtyard alongside ours. As a bonus, the husband-and-wife team also runs a local store selling homemade goods. We picked up some delicious treats that were perfect

“Exceptional hospitality in the heart of the Old Town.”
+We had a wonderful stay at Note Bene Rooms and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Our host, Dado, was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. He took the time to share thoughtful local recommendations, including the best place to watch the FIFA World Cup semi-finals. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip, and we’re so grateful for the recommendation. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We also loved that Lady Pi Pi was right next door, making it easy to enjoy a meal there despite the restaurant’s usually long queue. The location is hard to beat. Situated in the heart of the Old Town, the main attractions, restaurants, and cafés were all just a short walk away. It was also conveniently close to the Platanus airport shuttle stop, making our arrival and departure smooth and hassle-free. Overall, Note Bene Rooms combines genuine hospitality, comfort, and an unbeatable location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again on our next visit.

“A wonderful stay with exceptional hospitality in the heart of beautiful Dubrovnik.”
+We absolutely loved our stay at Note Bene Rooms. The location was perfect, the room was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable after long days of exploring Dubrovnik. Dado was wonderful and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. He gave us fantastic local advice and recommendations that truly made our trip even better. We also visited his store and loved all of the homemade goodies. He went above and beyond for us , even arranging our ride to the airport and personally carrying my suitcase out to the driver. His kindness and hospitality were unforgettable.
−Honestly, very little to complain about. The stairs in Dubrovnik can be a workout, but that’s part of the charm of staying inside the Old Town.

“Perfect location for a stress free stay.”
+Perfect location, close to Buza gate with not that many steps if you have luggage to lug. Dado goes above and beyond to help. Allowed us to leave our luggage early on day of arrival and we even left our luggage there overnight when we went to Montenegro. Lovely little courtyard to sit and enjoy drinks.
