“Excellent. I will be returning at regular intervals to visit my daughter who lives only a stone’s th”
+Loved my bedroom and en suite, very cosy during the stormy weather. The staff were very obliging. My only minor issue was that the coffee served to me at breakfast was way too weak. However my request to have it strengthened was dealt with quickly and apologetically. I am not a big breakfast eater so only had cereal and coffee. £10 is a little expensive for such a small meal.
−Less expensive payment for smaller breakfast although how you could enforce this I am not sure.

−We didn't have breakfast as neither of us could eat £20's worth of food in other words it was expensive for ladies with small apperties

“Would come gain. Loved the piano... it was in tune too.”
+Pool, breakfast bed all great.
−Actual arrival, could have been better. We had said we would arrive 2.30 to 3pm. Instead of. " you.ll have to wait, come back after 3pm we dont want to give you a dirty room'" try " please take a seat, while i ensure your room is prepared.. ' you may order a drink or some tea.... the bar bar is just over there. "

−Bournemouth had a bit of a bad vibe. Not the hotel's fault.

“Great hotel, Food ok. Staff brilliant.”
+Self drive through Alfa Holidays. Chose this hotel as I was told there was a big car park at the front of the hotel for about 50 cars. Alas there was parking for just about 5 cars. However I always found a space as many of the visitors were part of a coach tour. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff were extremely polite and worked very hard. Food is basic and portions were small but everything we had was very tasty indeed. Our room was a superior room at the front of the hotel and it was massive with a roll top bath and walk in shower. Tea coffee milk was replenished every day and the room cleaned daily with fresh towels on request. The only problem I had with the hotel was the dining room which was over 40 degrees every day due to the good weather. Eating dinner was extremely uncomfortable. I appreciate there is no way of controlling the weather but sun screens or blinds on the windows and roof would make dinner a little more bearable. Well done to all the dining room staff who worked tirelessly to ensure quick service. Entertainment was hit and miss with bingo every night and a singer on most nights. Would I return, yes probably I would but maybe not in the heat of the sum

−Only disappointment was waiting over 10 minutes for the barman to be found as people were waiting to get drinks
