“Awful”
+Our room was not clean, the window would not shut, the blind was broken and on the floor. The toilet next to our room was locked and we had no key to it. There was no cups or towels. One smoke alarm was bleeping and the other was broken. We tried to contact the owners but they didn’t answer. We had no choice but to book into another hotel. They have refused to refund the cost of the room. Would not recommend.

“*Best to avoid if you can*”
+This is the worst place I have ever stayed in the UK - note that the condition of the place is significantly worse than the photos suggest. When viewed in person, the place is dark, dingy, smells bad, in need of serious improvements throughout and many things are broken or not 'right' with the room. The details will never show in photos, but everything from the old dark hallways with creaky stairs, to sticky surfaces everywhere you touch. The window blinds were not actually attached to the wall, it fell off its brackets as soon as you touch it. The bedside lampshade was broken and looked very old. The 'tea and coffee station' was useless as there was no socket for the kettle, and the sugar sachets were open/used. The window when closed did not seal all the way round, meaning you can hear the loud main road outside and the wind and rain. The (shared) toilet was very odd as the main ceiling light is bright blue! The bedding seemed like it had been washed but was not the bright white colour you would expect - they looked old and did not 'feel' clean. All the room doors are self-closing but they all close with a very loud 'bang!' and this woke me up many times as guests left and entere
