“Wonderful, peaceful, relaxing getaway”
+This is an awesome spot when you just want to get away. Quiet. Peaceful. Don't expect nightlife or a ton of tourist attractions, but if you want nature, beautiful sunsets and a peaceful environment, this would be a good choice.
−Everything was really wonderful. One opportunity for improvement (and allow me some background)....Nick's Cove warns that Fly Fisherman (one of their rooms- a wonderfully spacious rooms across Highway 1 from Tomales Bay, with great views of the Bay and sunsets) may be troublesome for light sleepers due to their restaurant's refrigerator being located under the room. My experience is that you'd need to be an EXTREMELY light sleeper, as I found the small refrigerator in the room made more noise than the one below (and just the normal hum of the compressor). However, many of the staff and delivery personnel slammed the refrigerator door enough to startle us and you could feel the floor shake. Now, they aren't doing this at 3am, but hopefully some training (and perhaps a sign) can help alleviate this issue. It'd make hanging out in the wonderful space more enjoyable.

“Very relaxing day on the bay!”
+Been there many times. Love being on the water. Staff is extremely attentive. Could upgrade the menu at the restaurant but good food. Must get some ice cream while you are there.

“Was a much needed get away and our stay did not disappoint.”
+We love Nick's Cove. We both needed a get away from mostly medical visits, so we really enjoyed just being at Nick's, having wonderful food and seeing friendly faces again. We have rebooked and will be back in October. Thank you to all there, Kortney was great. See you soon.
−We did not like leaving Nick's Cove. It is our special get away place. Thank you for everything.

+I loved that breakfast was included and delivered. I need my morning coffee. The food was great at the restaurant and we loved the bartenders. The pier is great! We went on a run along the water and it was awesome. Service was great and our room was comfortable and clean. I have wanted to stay here for a while and I am so glad we did!

“I love the cottages, but not the restaurant.”
+The so-called complimentary breakfast has too many surcharges; just bake it into the price of the stay so it appears to be complimentary. We hate being nickle and dimed to death.
−Food could have been better. We call it up-scale bar food. Some of the dishes were very good, but others were mediocre. (The mussel dishes were excellent). Also, when some of the dishes purport to have fresh fish, I think it is simply not true. It is freezer to fryer or just simply pre-done somewhere else and trucked in. I like truth in advertising.

“flies!!!!😡”
+there were flies all over our room from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! we could not enjoy ourselves because of this! Super disappointing, because we are used to staying at very nice places and have no problem with paying $900 a night if the facility lines up with pricing, in this case it did not! I understand that it is directly on the water, but we have stayed at Ventana Inn, which is by the ocean and other nice locations and there have never been a fly problem as a matter of fact it was at dinner also at Nick Cove, so we could not enjoy our dinner or breakfast in the room the next morning, super disappointing
−flies!!!!
