“Perfect, can’t recommend highly enough.”
+Ideal location for the purpose of our visit to Morpeth, large, clean and very comfortable room, wonderful breakfast - we liked being able to choose in advance - and Paul couldn’t have been friendlier, making us feel very welcome indeed and gave us some great advice about the area.
−Can’t find any fault with it.

“A proper B&B run by a lovely owner!”
+Proper B&B's are hard to come by these days, but Newminster Cottage ticked all of the boxes. We had a great stay in a lovely room that had everything we needed...even lots of books! Parking was easy. We slept really well in a spotlessly clean room with a great bathroom and shower. The location was perfect both for the town and to get around in the local area. Breakfast was spot on, too and there was a lovely atmosphere in the morning in the dining room. The cottage is a lovely building and the owner is such a lovely, welcoming man who made us feel right at home while we were visiting the area for a wedding. Thank you for a lovely, easy stay in this fab part of the world. We need more fab B&Bs like this in the country!!

“Superb”
+Spent one night in the twin ensuite and as a base it was very handy for Morpeth and the surrounding area. The location was great as it.was near a pretty river walk and also the town centre with all its cafes and restaurants. A very chatty and friendly host with lots of helpful tips. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. We slept well and there was also.a little kitchen to make drinks or snacks in. A nice idea and made it homely.
−Tight parking but the host was really helpful with that. The coffee at breakfast was poor. Would be good to have proper ground coffee, not instant.

“I would certainly use again on a visit to Morpeth, which has a dearth of decent overnight hotels.”
+A really great B&B with a very friendly and helpful owner, Paul. The 'best of Geordie' is a good description.
−Two keys would have been helpful, but Paul has a good 'workaround', with an emergency key and code to allow access.

“Great location in a clean and beautiful town”
+Clean, comfortable and well furnished. This is a fantastic location adjacent to the river Wansbeck and short stroll through Oldgate to the town Centre. Our host was entertaining, informative and amiable. We could not have asked for more.

“Newminster Cottage was a plus for our Morpeth visit!”
+The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean with plenty of natural light and windows that we were actually able to open! Paul was super helpful and friendly. And we were able to leave our bags with him for a few hours between check-out and actually leaving town.
−Would have loved a kettle in the room, but that's a minor point as everything else was great!
